It was terrible, I went in for the recall and they told me that they didn't even have the party ready for my car. So then I had to come in the next week because they had to order, well I go there and then me that they didn't even have the party ready for my car. So then I had to come in the next week because they had to order, well I go there and then three hours later they called me to tell me that the part never came in and it would take three to four weeks. It took them three hours to realize that the part never came. IT was terrible don't ever go there. More
Want to say "Thank you" for helping us, Clay Orbeck. We are extremely happy with our decision on the Town and Country purchase. Bait and Switch, and would not recommend to anyone! They were trying to force us into signing new loan papers, and when said NO, they wouldn't give us our trade-in back. They said they already sold it to wholesale, which is ILLEGAL! I was hung up on, lied to , and in the long run, found a nicer car at a better dealer in Elmhurst. They should be put out of business, and I have already contacted the BBB. More
I'm not one to use online review sites to post negative feedback, but I consider it my duty to warn potential buyers NOT to visit this dealership. My sales person, Jeff, was certainly kind and friendly, b feedback, but I consider it my duty to warn potential buyers NOT to visit this dealership. My sales person, Jeff, was certainly kind and friendly, but since purchasing my used Passat from him, I've had nothing but trouble with the dealership initially refusing to repair pre-existing problems, then taking a full two weeks to "fix" a broken stereo that STILL, after 48 hours in the shop, doesn't have a radio that works, refusing to pay for the replacement of the only key they gave me (which I found out, after purchase, has the ring broken off, so it's impossible to attach it to a key ring). Sending me out in a loaner while my car was in the shop (a week after purchase), but not bothering to put any gas in the loaner, so the warning light was on before I even drove off the lot. Phone calls that were supposed to come "Monday for sure," as per the manager's vow, didn't come until the Saturday following that, and then only after I'd called to demand they call me. Offering me a sort of lottery Visa card that "may" earn me $100 (insufficient to cover repairs) and may earn me more--which amounts to playing Russian roulette with customer service. I'm appalled and wish I could sell my car back to the them for the price I got it and purchase elsewhere. This car that I loved has become a source of incredible stress for me and I feel unsafe driving because I can't trust the people who sold it to me. This isn't even mentioning the laundry list of defects a Volkswagen dealership nearby discovered on closer inspection. DO NOT BUY from this dealership. More
Worked with Matt Benson to come up with a sale price on a new Jeep and trade in value. After agreeing to the price over the phone, obtaining a cashier's check and driving two and a half hours to arrive at t new Jeep and trade in value. After agreeing to the price over the phone, obtaining a cashier's check and driving two and a half hours to arrive at the dealership, we were told when we arrived at the dealership that the vehicle we were looking at was sold. Then the salesman offered to sell us a Jeep of approximately $2000 less value for the same price we agreed to on the higher end model. I have since read dozens of reviews regarding this dealership -- they overwhelmingly indicate poor service and a lack of integrity. Avoid this dealer and look for a reputable dealership with good ratings and/or good word of mouth recommendations. More
Don't bother for service at this place. They'll give you the world if you buy a car here, just like any other dealership...but the service you expect will not be found here. Both times I went to look at the Jeep's it was in the middle of a snowstorm. And Craig helped me pick out a couple, and pulled them inside for my family to evaluate. Overall the customer service was great, and a very friendly atmosphere. I got the sense that I might have saved a couple bucks at another dealer, but I valued the relationship and friendliness of DuPage Jeep. Craig is a REAL Jeep Freak! More
Brought my Jeep in for service. First they argued that my warranty was expired when in fact it wasn't. When I went to pick up the jeep I noticed the bumper had a tear in it. After calling them to let them kn warranty was expired when in fact it wasn't. When I went to pick up the jeep I noticed the bumper had a tear in it. After calling them to let them know they directed me to take it to the bodyshop for an estimate, leading me to believe they were going to take care of the situation. Well, no such luck. Lou from the service dept informed me this was not something they were going to assume responibility for. I then Spoke with the service manager Mark Rupprrecht who said the decision was based on the fact that he had asked his techs, porters and car wash hands if they had done the damage. What do you think they said? Of course no one in the shop had anything to do with the damage. How ironic. I then decided to take the matter to the general manager Andy Davis. After speaking with Andy I figured the matter was then in capable hands. Again no such luck. His decision to not pay for the damages were just as idiotic as the service managers. The only difference was that he said he actually called the body shop that wrote the estimate and they said someone had hit the jeep and because of the cold it actually would have caused the tear that had happened, unfortunately for me they dont cover damage that is caused in their lot from someone hitting the vehicle even though it is parked in a section where they stage their service vehicles for repairs. In any event I believe this dealership has some of the worst managementi have ever seen. This of course is passed on down to the employees who argue with you about situations the have no clue about. Terrible Terrible experience with this dealer. And to think my hard earned money went into the pockets of these crooks makes me sick. More
