Absolutely terrible experience. It took an entire month to deliver the car, and even then, it arrived without temporary tags. I had to wait another 7 days just to receive those. It kind of felt like the customer attention was not as good after the check was in hand. In fairness, Ca fires and Tx weather played a role. Getting temporary plates is no easy task going from Ca to NM. That’d be a great upgrade to the service if Driveway could figure that out. We just got the vehicle and it is as advertised. Having a network of dealers under Lithia motors probably is a competitive advantage for Driveway. Assuming, we don’t see any reason to return the car in 7 days, I’d certainly recommend Driveway for online car purchases, but make sure you have ready access to a notary. More
