Finally the deliver driver reached out and told me sorry there was a mix up this vehicle was sold to someone else. I have now spent several days with barely any answers and constantly being told someone would call me back. I have not recieved my money back or the vehicle I purchased. and the real kicker is the vehicle that they sold me then turned around and said whoops it was already sold is now listed back for sale on their website. and once again I am told someone will reach back out to me about it. Well I am waiting. At this point I feel I have been completely scammed by this company. THEY SOLD ME AN ALREADY SOLD CAR, SAID WHOOPS AND STILL HAVE THIS CAR LISTED AS FOR SALE!!!! YET I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE VEHICLE OR A REFUND. 100% SCAM DEALERSHIP AT THIS POINT!! STAY AWAY!! More
Secured “my” car on 9/26, still no car 😩 I wanted to give a better review because my sales associate was extremely professional, kind, worked very thoroughly with me for over a month to find my car and give a better review because my sales associate was extremely professional, kind, worked very thoroughly with me for over a month to find my car and she stayed in communication. In fact the paperwork process of my purchase was thorough and smooth. It’s in the “transport/delivery” of my car. I was told a tentative date of 10/9-10/10 from my transportation specialist. Since then it’s been stressful due to miscommunication. I’m losing money because I’m now 4 days into my loan term, I’m paying for car insurance (down payment included) AND I’m paying for transportation for my daily commute! Every time I reach out to anyone, including a manager, it’s being “looked into” or escalated??? If this is the normal delivery process why is it being escalated? Also, I was told it was at the “hub” waiting to be inspected and then I was told the title wasn’t with it, then told it’s the 3 point inspection that’s the hold up. At this point I’m frustrated and disappointed. I’m a business major and CURRENTLY taking a business law course… I’m trying to avoid taking a legal action or tort, my professor is urging me to because now I’m draining money and stressed… hence, I’m leaving this review at 4 am 😖 This sucks! I was looking to purchase through this vendor but as soon as i go to check out they tack on a 2100$+ "registration fee". This fee provides no breakdown of the cost and all the agent said is that "they take care of the registration ". And simply dismissed my questions. Definitely feels like they are trying to pull one over on uninformed, buyers who lack experience. If the agent was more knowledgeable or they had an option to take care of the registration myself then a purchase probably would have been made. More
In the beginning, communication was great and transparent. I worked with William who called/texted through out the first week or so. The first car I placed my deposit on, sent my down payment for transparent. I worked with William who called/texted through out the first week or so. The first car I placed my deposit on, sent my down payment for, and had paperwork notarized for was never inspected. The car failed and couldn’t be sold. The solution was to either receive my money back or transfer it over to another vehicle. I decided to give the benefit of the doubt and proceed to car number two. I was told 2 days later that the car had been sold that morning through the dealership it was out. So, back to square one, but hey third time is a charm right? Wrong! I moved my payments towards car number 3. I waited and waited. 7 DAYS and a phone call later I finally was told they would get paperwork sent over to get the process started. Once that was sent over and completed it took only 3 days for the car to be delivered. I was told late morning the day of the delivery the car had been picked up and would be delivered around 8:30pm that evening - which was fine! I was also told in a few hours they’d give me a better update. That never happened! 8:30 came and went. By 9pm I called transportation and was told “oh initially it was supposed to be 9:30 but it looks like he will arrive around 10:30-10:45. I have 2 children, work full-time, and had to sit at my parents house for easier delivery. I stayed up and my car arrived with NO TEMP TAGS!!!!!! After pulling teeth I finally got an answer that I’d receive them over-night within a day or two. So my car sat for 2 days without even being able to test drive it or anything. Today was the day I could finally take it out on the road. I have ZERO paperwork about the inspection of my vehicle which is outrageous to me. There’s a rotten egg smell coming from the exhaust system indicating a possible catalytic converter issue, it has a high idle, the battery is so corroded that the bracket holding it in place is almost melted to it, the pulleys are so rusted, there’s zero coolant in this vehicle, the oil filter has a light oil leak, it sounds like complete garbage, AND t top it off the belt looks cracked and about to pop off. I expected a running working vehicle for money and being patient for the last MONTH! I will be returning my vehicle but now I’m out the entire delivery fee for the negligence of a HORRIBLE inspection performed. As if I have the money to just “throw away” for a car I’ve had for less than 72 hours. It’s honestly worst and most aggravating experience I’ve ever had. More
Purchased a vehicle from driveway on jul 30 2023. Also i traded in my vehicle. I was thinking this process would be more convenient as i purchased a Tesla completely online and it was the best car bu Also i traded in my vehicle. I was thinking this process would be more convenient as i purchased a Tesla completely online and it was the best car buying process ever. I was sadly mistaken. This company fails at every turn. The initial contact was good. Then they received their money and the train crashed there . It took from jul -OCTOBER.. for them to pay off the trade in. Not only that but i contacted them every week. I have had to pay both my trade in and the new car payments for months . Then they under pay the contract signed agreement for trade in. And haven’t had a single answer for me on what they intend to do about it . Do yourself a favor . Avoid this company like the plague . Also the delivery was changed after multiple text messages stating it would be delivered. Time taken off work for delivery just so they could cancel .. More

Purchasing the vehicle process was great! I had no issues with the workers i dealt with along the way. Everything was going well, up until temp tags. They did not come with vehicle, so i was I had no issues with the workers i dealt with along the way. Everything was going well, up until temp tags. They did not come with vehicle, so i was unable to drive the car for 2 days. They told me they would email the temp tags, it took them 2 days! So the 7-day return policy was reinstated. Everything seemed to be going great until 2 temp tags later. My latest one will be expiring again soon, so i reached out to get any feedback from anyone because another month has gone by and still no plates. I get a text message with link of paperwork to print out to take to my DMV. I called the person who sent the text right away, and explained that i should not have to go out of my way, and miss work to get temp tags. I do not work for driveway, and whether that money was going to be reimbursed or not I’m not going to miss a full day of work and hours to do what should have been done by the company! This is such an inconvenience. I’ve read many reviews on how horrible they are when it comes to getting registration! I should have purchased a vehicle locally. More
After an excellent initial experience with Broderick, I had multiple negative experiences with this company that claims to "make the journey easy." I purchased a vehicle that had to be delivered from C had multiple negative experiences with this company that claims to "make the journey easy." I purchased a vehicle that had to be delivered from CA. I was told some paperwork could be done digitally, some had to be hard copy, and a few would need to be notarized. The documents they sent contained multiple errors that required they be redone and sent back to me more than once - including after I'd already taken time off to get some notarized. After finally getting the correct forms and returning them, I was repeatedly told I would get updates on delivery. I was told when it arrived at a Driveway facility in my state to be cleaned and prepped. Several days went by with no updates or information unless I asked. Then suddenly I was told it was literally en route to me and about 1.5 hrs away. All told it took close to 4 weeks. Once I got the vehicle, there were no temporary plates and no title, even though I'd paid in full. I had to reach out to multiple people at Driveway before I was told they were going to register and get permanent plates for me so they needed the title temporarily. That's understandable - but why not tell me ahead of time? More importantly, with no temp plates, I could not drive the vehicle. I was told I could get temporary plates from my state DMV by more than 1 person at Driveway. Again, if you're trying to "make the journey easy" why wasn't this communicated to me ahead of time? Well, in this case, that's because what I was told is not true. After I got through to the DMV, I learned this is not something the DMV does in my state. More attempts to get help from Driveway and I finally spoke with 1 person who knew that my state DMV does not do that. Their solution? They told me to buy a 3 day travel permit and then renew it every 3 days over the 2-3 weeks she said it would take to get permanent plates. In short, I was told to do something illegal so that I did not own a vehicle that I could not drive. Again, why was none of this explained to me ahead of time? Finally, the vehicle itself had a few issues: headlight out, broken latch on a cupholder, and it only came with 1 key (with an almost dead battery.) I raised these issues with one person at Driveway who told me not to worry and that Driveway would help. However, when I brought them up with the Customer Resolution person, I was told "things do break." She was full of excuses, but short on empathy and "resolution" - I was basically told I would need to take care of fixing the issues that the vehicle arrived with. I did not pay for a "broken" vehicle! At the very least they should have offered to find a dealership to repair it. As far as the missing key, I was told that because the photos of the car didn't show 2 keys, they don't provide 2 keys??? Vehicles are sold with 2 keys. That is standard and if that is not the case - once again - communicate it clearly! (There was nothing written anywhere about not providing 2.) Again, no resolution or even attempt at understanding - basically just "too bad." In short, a company that claims to "make the journey easy" was anything but. I have bought a lot of vehicles over the years, and this was the most difficult and unsatisfactory car buying experience I've ever had. More
Bought a car for my 16 year old daughter. The car buying process and value were great. The registration process had been terrible. Driveway's vendor didn't bother to send my title application The car buying process and value were great. The registration process had been terrible. Driveway's vendor didn't bother to send my title application to the DMV until the day after my 30 tag expired. Since they sent the paperwork directly to the county and refused to send it to me, the DMV won't talk to me and will only deal with Driveway's vendor. I'm now 3 weeks past the expiration of my temp tag and so don't have my registration. The vendor's solution was just drive it and if I get pulled over just explain the situation and the police will "likely" let me go. Obviously, I'm not putting my 16 year old daughter in that situation, so the car sits. I've reached out to Driveway directly and they will not respond to my emails. I should have listened to the many, many negative reviews I read about their registration process. Never again. More
