I financed my car with Driveway. I decided to sell to them to make the transaction easier. When I put in my car's details to get an offer, I was conservative and estimated that my ca I decided to sell to them to make the transaction easier. When I put in my car's details to get an offer, I was conservative and estimated that my car was in good condition. However, after submitting the photos for the virtual inspection, Driveway determined that my car was in great condition. I asked several time how that would affect my offer. Each time I was told that my offer would not change if the virtual inspection results came back as good or great. I was not given a reason for this, nor was I shown their policy on it (if any). I am extremely disappointed. All I wanted was for the offer to match the payoff quote. It was only about an $800 difference. Overall, the process was slow but easy. They also contacted me using several different employees. I wish I only had to work with 1 person. My advice to anyone considering selling their car to Driveway is just overestimate your car's condition. Don't get duped like I did. More

I was told that I maybe able to have this car by Christmas and I was fine with the “maybe”. I signed a contract online, paid the down payment and thought things were progressing. Then I was told that I would have fill out ANOTHER contract that had to be mailed. I was confused and even made the suggestion of possibly printed the contract electronically, going to a notary to sign and submit. My suggestion was ignored and told that wasn’t something that could be done. Forms were to be sent overnight through UPS. I went along with the process. I was supposed to get the package in Wednesday, Dec 18th. I took off work to quickly turn it back in. NOW, I’m still waiting and it is currently 8:09pm Friday. After several called to UPS, the most recent response is “your package never got loaded on a truck to deliver, in fact it maybe lost”. I was also told that there is NO guarantee that I will even get the package if it’s lost. I have NO clue what to do from here. I have lost total confidence that my daughter’s car will be here by Christmas. This has been a disaster, where do we go from here? More

I found a car I liked online on 12/7/24. I called and made a $500 deposit on said vehicle. Days pass by and then I’m informed that the vehicle has been sold and. I wait a week - still no refund. I call back and I was told the refund was sent to an AMEX - I don’t even have an AMEX! Now the refund is supposedly “processing” but I have yet to receive. This place is a SCAM and I will likely have to file a dispute with my bank. More
