Perfect place to buy... if you want a lemon. The car I bought from Driver’s Way cost me more in repairs and down time than I ever imagined possible. Two years later and the car has been sent back The car I bought from Driver’s Way cost me more in repairs and down time than I ever imagined possible. Two years later and the car has been sent back to the bank, hitting me both in the wallet and the credit score. I find it impossible to believe that the folks at Driver’s Way knew nothing about this vehicle’s state. So, thanks for screwing me, guys! More

He let us take our time with the decision and kept us informed throughout the financing process. Started great but went downhill quick! I usually enjoy the car buying process and had high hopes because they had 3 cars that I loved. I was perfectly fine with their prices (if not I would I usually enjoy the car buying process and had high hopes because they had 3 cars that I loved. I was perfectly fine with their prices (if not I wouldn't have traveled 2 hours to come look) and realized they were close or right at retail on most of their vehicles. I was interested in trading in my vehicle (a 2016 with a retail value of $37,000) they offered me $28,000 and said it was because of the motor it has in it ,the same motor that makes it a more expensive vehicle when purchasing. The vehicle is in excellent condition and I say that because the day prior a dealership offered $33,000 trade in value but unfortunately they didnt have the "perfect" car for me. I understand they are in business to make money but dont come in and tell me that you dont price your vehicles at retail and that you wont be putting my trade out at retail, which is $10,000 more than you offered, when your saleswoman had just said "we are a retail dealership". A better way to go about telling someone their trade in value is "you know we went back and looked and since you are here and want to buy from us we can offer you $30,000" NOT "well the motor that makes your car more expensive is the reason we low balled you and the only reason the other place would even consider giving you $33k is because of rebates. We will lose money in your vehicle. Can we make a deal?" Ummm no thank you. More

He was very understanding and attentive to our requirements we both were looking for in a car, and went out of his way to make sure we could look at any and all vehicles he thought we might like. He introduced us to Ryan Hanks, who was to do our appraisal, and Ryan was very friendly, constantly laughing and smiling. They made the entire car shopping "experience" very pleasant and simple. None of the pressure or shadiness that I've experienced at so many other used car dealerships. I would highly recommend anyone looking for an honest, no pressure, friendly car buying experience to go to Drivers Way in Pelham! More
