Go Literally Anywhere Else! Bought a vehicle off of them on January 9th for $7,500. I was almost going to buy a warranty but Don said that if anything major bad happened in the Bought a vehicle off of them on January 9th for $7,500. I was almost going to buy a warranty but Don said that if anything major bad happened in the first two weeks they would take care of it. Drove the vehicle approximately 150 miles over 5 days when the motor lost oil pressure. I immediately pulled the vehicle over and checked the oil to make sure it had oil in it and started the motor back up after putting a quart of oil in it and the oil pressure returned however the check engine light was on and there was a rattle in the motor. I contacted Don and he said they would take care of it and they came and picked the vehicle up the following Tuesday. Don said most likely the loss of oil pressure was caused by the screen was clogged causing it to say that it had lost oil pressure. I was told it was taken to a mechanic where everything was fixed. When I picked the vehicle up and drove it home you could still here the ticking noise and they had the vehicle for about a week and a half to make sure it was fixed. When I contacted Don again he said he would forward the message on to his boss and he would contact me, the boss never contacted me. I then took the vehicle to three different mechanics to see if anyone could tell me definitively what was wrong with the motor and two said it could be the lifters but wouldn't know for sure unless the motor was taken completely apart and even then the bill would be $3,000 or replace the motor for $7,000. I had the engine oil changed twice to see if that would help and then had a cleaning additive added to the motor drove it for 500 miles to see if that would help and it did not. I took it to another service center who had worked on many of the motors this vehicle has to which he said it was the cam that was vibrating and literally destroying itself. At this point I contacted Driven Auto Sales to speak to Eric the owner but he refused to talk to me and had the person I spoke with send my phone call to the manager's voicemail. I left the manager a voicemail and he didn't respond within a day. I then texted Don the salesman again and said that I had left his manager a voicemail and if no one wanted to contact me I would be contacting the better business bureau. Don told me to contact the manager right then to which I did after about 20 minutes when I could while I was at work. At this point I am wanting to get them to pay for half of the new motor or do something to help me out since their sales rep Don said anything major happens in the first two weeks they will fix it an this whole ordeal occurred literally 5 days after purchasing the vehicle when I had drove it about 150 miles. I first tried to explain that I literally within the next year or so will be looking to buy two additional vehicles to replace two more that I have that I would like to change but he quickly said that's the future what do we need to do now to that I started talking about the whole situation and he remembered what had happened and that they had come and picked up the vehicle and fixed the screen and I said yes but the motor was making a tapping/banging noise at that point and it wasn't fixed which he replied how could he be sure that I didn't run it low and not check the motor which I said I had driven it all of about 150 miles and at that point he became belligerent and said may I speak. Said that I had bought the vehicle as is and that after I drove it off the lot it wasn't their issue. I said yes but Don his sales person state that anything that happened within the first two that was major they would fix which I said I consider the motor a major thing which he agreed. I agree that if this had happened two or three months down the road he would be right but his sales rep said two weeks which this happened 5 days after I purchased the vehicle. He then stated I didn't hear Don say that I have never heard him say that I wasn't there but yet they picked it up after 5 days when it had the problem that they didn't fix. He said in a hostile way that they would not participate in putting in a new motor which I said that wasn't what I was asking but he became very hostile and stated that they would not participate since this was two months ago. I tried to tell him that indeed that was two months ago but this all happened five days after I purchased the vehicle and it wasn't fixed then and that Don his sales rep stated two weeks and he said I should be talking to Don or Eric to which I said I did they both directed me to you. He said he remembers something over a month ago about this Don mentioned it to him I said yes I contacted Don who said he would let you know and you never got back with me. He stated they might help get me a discount on service but they were not going to participate. I said that's your final word you are not going to participate and he said yes. I stated that I would let everyone know how I was treated and that is exactly what I am doing now. I'm asking them to live up to their word which they are not. Over the last 4 years I have purchased and/or sold a 03 chevrolet truck, 06 ford truck, 16 ford mustang, 06 acura tl, 06 infiinit g35, 97 nissan pathfinder, 99 ford ranger, 90 mazda miata and I plan on buying more vehicles which will not ever come from Driven Auto Sales. I wasn't even going to ask them to replace the whole motor (which they should because their sales rep made the two week guarantee) just help pay for half of the motor. Go somewhere else because they are the reason why used car salespeople have a bad reputation. I am putting a new motor in a vehicle for $5,000 that I purchased for $7,500 and drove it 150 miles for 5 days. More

The battery died on me had to use my truck to jump start it. the following day the back break was out i Didnt want it to leave me on the road so i went by auto zone they checked the battery it was no good so i bought a new one. Took the vehicle back they took it to a shop had it there for a approximately 2 weeks then called me saying it was ready. Half way home the rattling was back so i took it back they kept it another week then call saying its ready i went to pick it up and guess what the noise is now even worst so i spoke with this jeff the salesman that say he has to talk to a guy by the name of Eric the boss. They called me the day after came by my house pick it up keep it for a week then called back now this is a month and i have not have or even been able to drive this car saying they cant get the the horrible rattling out the car so i can come get it. When i went this jeff guy gonna tell me that they collected my money i have to fight with them to get the title that i have a xxxxty vehicle that i made a down payment on that they sold me that i have not had since the sales. Now he's telling me its my problem as they not fixing it or gonna even give me another vehicle of the same value. Then gonna say thats how business goes sometime. People you have been WARNED!!!!! More
