They wouldn't work with our outside Financing. We told them who we were using before putting a deposit down to hold the car. Waste of 5 days. Went to Carmax and had a car in less than 3 hours! Worst buy here pay here lot! Not worth any stars!!! I was really in search of a great vehicle and thought drive time would help. When I called to find out if my down payment was accurate from their webs I was really in search of a great vehicle and thought drive time would help. When I called to find out if my down payment was accurate from their website, that stated I was approved and could put $195 down, I basically received he run around after sending in my paystub to one of the associates. I wasted time waiting for the lady to call me back to see if my down payment was for the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. When I went to drive time the next day the lady I had been emailing told me at first I didn't have a credit score with Experian, which I knew I did, then she refreshed her screen and saw that I did have a credit score. Before she saw I had a credit score she told me I would have to put down $11,000 on a 2016 Chevy Cruze with 2200 hundred miles priced at $13,697 then after she saw I had a credit score she told me I would have to put $4200 down. She then showed me a 2016 Nissan Sentra for $1000 down that had about 44,500 miles on it that had been in a accident December 2016 and was used also as a rental car which explains the high miles. The sales lady didn't understand why I wanted the car with less miles that still had its original warranty and said she would never just look at the miles on a car. Even though the 2016 Nissan Sentra was about $2000 cheaper than the 2016 Chevy Cruze she mentioned my payments would have been $202 which I assumed was per month then she said in a low voice that's every two weeks. So basically $404 a month. After dealing with the xxxxxxxx at drive time I went to a real car dealership, Savannah Toyota to be exact. I assumed they wouldn't even talk to me because my credit score is on the low end but I was able to put $1000 down on a 2016 certified pre-owned Toyota Corolla (which I've always wanted even before the last car i had many years ago) with about 9800 miles on it with factory warranty, one owner no accidents and the ability to refinance the car after a year to get a lower interest rate. I'm so glad I went to a real dealership instead of a wanna be dealership that's an overpriced buy here pay here lot. I hope my review can help someone, anyone ... Not saying all drivetime buy here pay here lots are bad but at this one I felt that they were rushing and pressuring me into a car I wasn't looking for originally. If you're going to have high car payments that you accept go to an actual dealership that offers the manufacturer warranty, not a place that's selling over priced cars they bought from some auction and fixed up with no manufacturer's warranty left. Sorry for any grammar mistakes and always do your research, don't let anyone bully you out your money!!!! More
