Had a very good experience. Reason is not five star is entry and parking is often difficult at best. Reason is not five star is entry and parking is often difficult at best. More

When the work had been completed they went over their inspection of my vehicle and a couple of issues that will need to be addressed. I’ve used dream Nissan several times and have always been satisfied with the service they have provided me. More

I'm updating my original review to share the full picture of my experience at this dealership. The facility itself left a lot to be desired. This was my first time purchasing from Dream Nissan dealership at of my experience at this dealership. The facility itself left a lot to be desired. This was my first time purchasing from Dream Nissan dealership at Lawrence, and unfortunately it was not a great introduction. Our sales rep, Jason, was decent enough, but when I specifically asked to look at a Versa, he took us on a test drive in a Sentra instead. Once the numbers came back well outside our budget, he immediately shifted into classic sales-pressure mode — asking what he needed to do to "earn our business." We told him clearly the numbers didn't work for us, and that should have been the end of it. Let's talk about the pricing, because this was the most frustrating part. I called ahead specifically because the vehicle was advertised at $16,817, discounted due to hail damage. That price is the reason we made the trip. When we sat down and the numbers came out, the price had jumped to $18,500 — with a $750 rebate already factored in. That is a significant difference from what was clearly stated when I called, and no satisfactory explanation was given for the discrepancy. That kind of bait-and-switch pricing erodes trust immediately. What made things worse was what happened after I left my initial review. Brad Baker, listed as Director of Consumer & Partner Affairs, contacted me and asked me to change my review to a positive one, claiming I had left the dealership happy. I had never met or spoken with this man during my visit, so I found it both surprising and inappropriate that he reached out asking me to revise an honest review. On the financing side: we came in with a 720+ credit score, which is solid, and still could not get a reasonable rate. Every conversation circled back to "how much down and what monthly payment?" When we pushed back, we were told that neither the bank nor the dealer could control the rates. That is not an explanation — that is a dismissal. It is the worst dealership I have ever visited, but between the pricing discrepancy, the pressure tactics, and the request to alter my review, I will not be returning or recommending it to others. I’d been hunting for a very specific used car, a Volvo XC90 hybrid, for a couple months. Couldn’t find any in my price range in Kansas City area. But I recently found one at Dream Nissan in Lawrence, whic XC90 hybrid, for a couple months. Couldn’t find any in my price range in Kansas City area. But I recently found one at Dream Nissan in Lawrence, which is only a 40 minute drive. Came out, test drove it, and loved it. Started paperwork at dealership and finished it online. When all was done, they delivered it to my home and picked up my trade in. There was a big rock chip in the windshield when they delivered the Volvo, but they arranged to have a local auto glass shop replace it. They treated me like I was buying a new car, even though it was a pre-owned. Great experience. More
