If you are looking for a car with lots of problems and unforseen bills costing well into the $10k range, look no further than Draper Auto! After research and multiple mechanic's looking over the car, the unforseen bills costing well into the $10k range, look no further than Draper Auto! After research and multiple mechanic's looking over the car, the car has been compltely submerged underwater or left out in the rain for a prolonged period of time. Gary never mentioned anything of this sort, he told me it had a screen that flickered but no check engine lights on; or other error messages on the dashboard of the BMW. This was completely untruthful of course, as soon as I had the car delivered, I realized I had been swindled. Every error code on the cash is light up like a Christmas tree. The car has not been driven since February of 2018 and the manipulation light is on as well, so likely the mileage has been manipulated. Wouldn't send my worst enemy over to buy a car from this "Family" shop, terrible experience. Called Gary (owner of Draper) and his response was this: "COVID has been tough on us, we are all trying to get by these days, best of luck, you should have known better". Not willing to work with me at all for undisclosed water damage and the car is filled with rust throughout. I would caution anyone working with this dealership. My fault buying sight unseen, but that's what I get for trusting Gary to tell me the car was solid except the screen issue. Can't even open the rear trunk of the vehicle, AC doesn't work, car is a worthless piece of trash... Did I mention it is missing the sunroof mesh cover, BMW wants over $3000 to replace this small piece of information Gary didn't include... Save yourself the trouble and move on to another car if you think they have something you want. More
Best quality at fair prices! Kris really knows his stuff when it comes to any of the automobiles they sell. If he doesn't have an answer, he will tell you so and then find it for you. Very helpful! Avoid buying a Used car from here I bought a BMW from this place. I thought it was a great deal on a used car. Little did I know it would start having problems 2 days after driving off I bought a BMW from this place. I thought it was a great deal on a used car. Little did I know it would start having problems 2 days after driving off of the lot. A dashboard light came on and I took it to a repair shop thinking it would be a simple oil change little did I know it needed a new engine. What looked like a good deal was the worst deal ever. Now I am looking at thousands of dollars in repairs. All these guys had to say was that it was bad luck on my part. I wouldn't bring my business here. More
terrible business practice Draper auto put an ad on KSL for a 2010 Sprinter van with no pictures. I've been looking for one for almost two years and recently decided to go for Draper auto put an ad on KSL for a 2010 Sprinter van with no pictures. I've been looking for one for almost two years and recently decided to go for it. I called on 6/29 and they said to put $500 down so i could be the first to look at it when it hit the lot, because it was coming from the east. Almost no communication from Kris for SEVEN weeks about what was going on with the repairs that were being done. In the meantime i saw that the price had gone up $2000 and still no communication. Today, 8/21 i asked for my $500 back. Car dealers are further being proven as total xxxxxxxx and making it harder to buy a car. I will never recommend these clowns and why i tried to give them zero stars. Pathetic experience. More
Avoid doing business with Draper Auto I had been in the market for a LR4 for a while. Decided to give these guys my business, and it was a terrible choice. I bought a used 2012 LR4 and a f I had been in the market for a LR4 for a while. Decided to give these guys my business, and it was a terrible choice. I bought a used 2012 LR4 and a few days after I drove it off their lot, the check engine light came on. Later, we discovered that the original engine in the car had been swapped out at some point, and Draper Auto knew about it before they sold us the vehicle due to an invoice provided to us (originally provided to them) by Salt Lake Land Rover. Instead of being honest, they chose to with-hold the information. We have had non-stop issues with the vehicle since; A terrible Oil leak, already had to replace the battery and fix a flat tire, etc. We are currently waiting to get an estimate from our mechanic on how many thousands of dollars we will have to spend to get the engine fixed. We know absolutely nothing about this engine. We don't have any idea how many miles are on it. The oil level sender is so bad that we don't know how many quarts are in the car, so we currently don't even drive it. The car also shakes and vibrates at about 85 mph. I understand that you always take a chance when you purchase a used vehicle, but it's really disheartening how dishonest Gary was with us. If any mention of a "motor replacement" would have been made prior to the vehicle being purchased, I would have walked away from that vehicle. I just wanted a good, reliable car for my family, and now we are stuck with this piece of crap. I don't even feel safe putting my family in it. What happened to honest dealings?... It's ironic reading through these reviews actually; several people have had very similar experiences. Buyers Beware! More
