Mediocre service was provided, the service team missed several items on the safety inspection, and my car was returned to me with damage that I do not recall being there prior to being serviced. Additionally I was told I needed a new catalytic converter which was very out of the ordinary. The office staff had nearly 100% turnover from the last time I went as well. Needless to say I no longer trust this service center and do not plan on bringing my car back here again after 6 years of repeat business. More

I think Toyota of downtown Oakland should investigate the service department They may find a few wrong doing by it’s employees that effects the customer In the last survey I express the issues Like being c service department They may find a few wrong doing by it’s employees that effects the customer In the last survey I express the issues Like being charged for something I didn’t agree to My windows did not work After I pick my car up The next day I opened the back door on the driver side I saw a big chunk of my backseat cushion ripped out I talked to Kevin Goh he told me to send him a picture of it So I did He said a rat did that I asked him was he a rat expert to know this he said no, but he can tell by the bite marks I said ok who going to take care of this He said that’s not our fault I said this happened at Toyota How is it not your fault You’re responsible for my car while it’s in your custody He said there’s nothing he can do They’re not responsible for the rat infestation I said someone must have left my door open He said no a rat can get in with doors closed and locked up My catalytic converter was stolen. I took my Prius there for repairs. They said it would be 1 to 2 months before they will receive the part. It took them six months to receive the part so my car set at Toyota for six months and when I picked it up, there were a few damages to the car that was not there when I brought it in More
Physical service was all right, but my Lyft ride was messed up not once but two times. also, I was asking if I would discuss selling my car but that interview never materialized. I wasn’t impressed with the service dept. when having an issue w/ my tire. Generally, the Tech will show me where the problem is on the tire, but didn’t. So, I took my vehicle to another Deal when having an issue w/ my tire. Generally, the Tech will show me where the problem is on the tire, but didn’t. So, I took my vehicle to another Dealership who not only had great customer service, but had photographs to show me that indeed the tire was a safety issue. However, I do want to shout out to your Parts Dept., especially Dennis C. who took time & is very personable & was extremely helpful. I will definitely return to your Parts Dept. in the future! More
