The service department was professional and prompt with the maintence services received. I would like to thank Marcus Jackson, Mr. Ranson ( I believe that is his name) for their professionalism and patience with me over the phone. Several days after the services were received my Mother received a phone call from Mary in the service department. There was an overcharge on the services received and Mary wanted to make sure I received the refund. Her comments to my Mother were "we want to be honest". In these times most companies will not make these admissions. I normally have my car serviced at the Newton Nissan Dealership in Shelbyville, TN; which is an A+ dealership. However it is easier for my Mother to travel a shorter distance to Downtown Nashville Nissan. Thank you for all you do. Satisfied Customer, Cynthia Epperson-Lyons. More
Great customer service in service department I checked NO so that I could submit my response. I had an exceptional experience when I took my car in for routine service. Spenser is awesome. He not I checked NO so that I could submit my response. I had an exceptional experience when I took my car in for routine service. Spenser is awesome. He not only talks to you about what needa to be done for your car, he also talks to you and with you on a casual level. I could take my car to other places for service but the customer service at Downtown Nissan has always been personal and relaxed. Everyone in the service in-take area is so friendly. I'll return in 4 months for my next service. Thanks Spencer, I'll see you then. More

He is rude, abrasive, and has terrible customer service skills. My first encounter with him while getting my car financed was fine and friendly although he did push me into adding extra warranties. After I consulted with a family about the purchase, I was informed that the extra warranties were not a good deal for me as Tshombe Demby had implied. I returned to have the extra warranties removed, and Tshombe Demby became very belligerent and told me I was "making a dumb decision" by removing the extra warranties. I sent a compliant to the dealership about that incident and they apologized. Fast forward to today. I was misled by someone named Kayla from Downtown Nissan to supposedly discuss the issue on how my account was handled after maintenance services. She immediately puts Tshombe Demby on the phone who over-talked me, refused to listen, raised his voice, and tried to intimidate me on the phone call. Meanwhile, Kayla could be heard in the background agreeing with what Tshombe Demby was saying and doing. I wanted to speak with another manager and Tshombe Demby yelled he is the manager and no one is over him. He then implied that how my account was handled was my fault; that they (Downtown Nissan) had nothing to do with why my account was misread by their own workers. He kept trying to force me to accept his point of view (as if my complaint had not merit), and made multiple excuses that included “it takes time in [their] system for information to change.” I challenged him on how long does it take for information to change in their system. The issue had been happening for over 6 months, and the way I found out was receiving $240 service bill on my 3rd maintenance visit after receiving 2 free ones because the cashiers from the previous visits told me my maintenance warranty covered everything (they read it from straight from their computer system). After this point, Tshombe Demby stated he didn’t know how long it takes for information to be updated. Even when I called corporate about the issue, the guy handling my phone call had difficulty telling there were some cancellations from August 2016 and its now May 2017 (apparently, this is an internal issue with Nissan). My main concern with this current incident is how Downtown Nashville Nissan and TSHOMBE DEMBY chose to treat me by concealing mistakes and verbally roughhousing customers. I'm assuming they had the girl named Kayla to initiate the phone call with me and then stay to overhear call with Demby because of my initial complaint with him. To wrap up this ordeal, Tshombe Demby stated he was done with this conversation and HUNG the phone up on my face. When I called back, no one answered. I have no idea why any GOOD business/company would keep someone ill-tempered like Tshombe Demby mishandling their customers when there is an event that is not favorable to him. I never asked for a refund (from corporate or the dealership). I simply shared my experience with Downtown Nashville Nissan about them choosing to keep me misinformed after I left my second maintenance visit (I have my original receipts showing “warranty” next to the costs). Here I am at my 3rd visit being informed after the service that they caught the oversite after I left the service department in January 2017, corrected it on their end (the service cashier at this appointment provided me with a duplicate receipt from the January visit showing their adjustments), but never thought I should know that they mistakenly told me on 2 different occasions that my warranty covered car maintenance. One would think Downtown Nashville Nissan would be interested on making future adjustments with how they choose to do customer service that would help keep customers’ trust with their business. Obviously, that does not matter here. Please avoid this dealership if you want to be treated fairly and respectfully. More

I expected to have to make an appointment and was greeted in the drive in and directed to a service advisor who was very helpful and set me an appointment 2 days later. 2 minutes later I met the director Mr. Scripter who was nice and extremely helpful. In talking with him he offered me immediate service if I could wait. I took him up on his offer and was out the door and hour later! I was also impressed with the cleanliness of the service floor. Immaculate! Truly exceptional service. More

In and Out My favorite thing about this dealership is that they give you a specific timeframe for the work being done and stick to it. I can wait as long as need My favorite thing about this dealership is that they give you a specific timeframe for the work being done and stick to it. I can wait as long as needed if I know what to expect. The attendant was pleasant, specific about what would be done, what it would cost, and recapped the service again when I left. She also told me what would be coming upon my next visit. I was in and out as expected, and enjoyed the TV in while waiting. More

After the service was complete I was told my front brake pads were wearing and I needed to have them replaced soon. Now on the morning of 10/11/16, I bought my vehicle back to this same location to have front brake pads put on and to have my car cleaned as well. I checked in around 10:15 am and took a shuttle bus to a relatives home nearby to wait. I called a couple of times just to check on the status. I received a phone call around 3:34pm and was told rear brakes were put on. Now I am baffled and I told the rep that I didn't ask for that. I strongly believe a phone call should have been made to make me aware of the changes. Nonetheless, I arrived back at Nissan at 4:39 pm after calling and speaking to the service department manager "LJ". I explained who I was and what I was waiting on, and I asked if he knew why it was taking so long to have "brake pads" put on. He apologized, but he couldn't give me an answer. He kept repeating that my car was being dried. 5:20 pm now, and my car is pulled around still wet and the inside wasn't vacuumed. This was NOT a courtesy car wash, this was a wash I paid for. I got LJ's attention and asked why wasn't the inside cleaned, he explained he thought I was in a rush so they skipped it??? He drove it back himself and around 5:30 pm is when I actually left the dealership. Terrible would be an understatement to describe my experience here. I thought it was tacky and very unprofessional to say the least. 7 hours was the total time they were in possession of my vehicle. $266 was my total. I gave the rep a $50 dollar off coupon , which he explained it would now be $199.99 and $19.99 for the wash. He first quoted me $276. Does this make sense to anyone else? I don't mind the money especially when it comes to maintaining my vehicle, but as a paying customer I don't like to be lied to. More

I always thought Nissan was exceptional across the board but I realize now that is not the case. I asked for a car wash with my service and got an oil change. When my car came out it didn't even look like it was washed. I checked my oil after it had been sitting and the tip was black. When I went back to the dealership I showed the manager. Of course, he said it was all new oil but I can tell the mixed old with new. Unfortunately, with driving the old was mixed with the new. But when the car has been sitting it is black at the tip of the oil stick. I'm extremely disappointed and will never, ever go back there. More
