Got my 2020 Tiguan Serviced twice for the same problem. Was not fixed the first time. The service department is ok with their technician speeding around with customers car. I questioned the service writer and I did it any explanation or apology. When I picked up the car no remorse no respond but “go see the lady and leave the key with her”. I even approached him to ask for something to open up a conversation. He diverted me to another guy(Spanish guy) “amigo help him” “some thing to clean” great representative. More
I’ve been taking my car for service to Douglas for years, and even though I know their prices are way higher than other repair shops, I always felt that my peace of mind was worth it - that is, until my last and even though I know their prices are way higher than other repair shops, I always felt that my peace of mind was worth it - that is, until my last visit this past January. On my last service they told me I needed to have the arms replaced, because it was worn out and causing an uneven wear in my tires , but back then I didn’t have the time to leave it and said I would bring back. I ended up taking it to my friend’s repair shop, because the dealership wouldn’t answer the phone or my emails during the pandemic, and solved the issue. When I was back at Douglas this time, and after my car was inspected, Brian brought to my attention that the arms needed to be replaced, to which I responded that I had already done so. I told him I was very surprised and would text my mechanic right away to find out what happened. A couple minutes later, he came to the lounge area and changed the story, he said that the arms were replaced indeed, but that they were wearing out again. So, the arms were good for years, and then I need to replace them once again after 7 months of use. Really??!! That same day I was also told to replace the rotors and pads, I asked them to change the pads only and Brian said that wasn’t possible because my rotors were rusty. Days later there was a snowstorm and my new rotors were covered in rust - I asked a friend about it and he said it is completely normal to have rusty rotors and that they only need to be replaced when they’re giving you trouble, which of course wasn’t my case. So, I probably shelled out almost $600 for a brake job that wasn’t even needed, not to mention that they told me I would have to wait about 2 - 2.5 hours and it took them 3.5. I’m truly disappointed about this place and I’m never bringing my car again, or buying a new one at their dealership. They lost me. More

Marvin went so far out of his way to make sure I got a tow/jump start and then to replace my battery that very afternoon, I was soooooooo happy! Dan Bekelmen reached out to me immediately and I gave him numbers since this dealer was a 30min drive away. He worked with me and set up an appt with Mike Truzzo. Very professional and straight up. When we saw Mike the following day, he was aware of our situation with a lease. Mike worked numbers and was very honest. He treated us like valued customers. Never did he pressure us and negotiated the numbers regardless if we signed or not. We had went to another a dealer in Clifton NJ-(Gensinger VW) a few days prior and we were out in less than 5 minutes. The sales person was rude to us when we came in the front door and then heard we had a lease and totally berated us and did not want to be bothered. Douglas is a top tier dealer and very professional. Very friendly staff and treats everyone the same. I recommend them highly especially Mike! More

Easy check in process, organized by last name alphabetically. Martin was my service rep, and he talked me through my requested oil change service, plus the recommended 20,000 mile service, since alphabetically. Martin was my service rep, and he talked me through my requested oil change service, plus the recommended 20,000 mile service, since this was my first time at the dealership. He said all work would be done in one-and-a-half hours, and 90 minutes later I was back on the road. Thank you, and look forward to my next service appointment. More
