Vlad Voskoboynikov was very personable and knowledgable about the Jetta Sport Wagon that we were looking at. We bought the car from Douglas Auto Group because of the way we were treated. I live in the city and there are many options there to get a car. I was clear about getting a VW Jetta and therefore decided to use Open Road in Manhattan as it was convenient. Didn't get the car and the overall experience was really frustrated. Through a co-worker I ended up calling Douglas Auto Group (and Vlad). Within two days everything was done!. It made total sense to look outside the city. Not only I was treated respectfully but also I was taken care of properly as a customer. Vlad was great. He took care of my case and ensured that I had a car in less than 48 hours!. I fully recommend Douglas Auto Group and encourage any potential customer in the city to drive out of your way from the city and pay them a visit. You won't regret it. Make sure you speak to Vlad. He is a great sales person (passionate, respectful, with a great attitude and willing to help you). After taking my car to another VW dealership in Union, on two different occasions for the same issue, I decided to bring it to Douglas VW, 45 min away! Within a few minutes of talking to Rick, he immediately two different occasions for the same issue, I decided to bring it to Douglas VW, 45 min away! Within a few minutes of talking to Rick, he immediately informed me of what the problem could be. On my first visit he ordered replacement on all of the recalled parts without any hesitation and then started an oil consumption test. After failing this consumption test all the necessary parts were replaced. I am assured that car will be in top running condition and am beyond satisfied with the service I received. Furthermore the overall kindness and honesty I received from Rick was exceptional. I look forward to returning for maintenance and repairs only because of the hospitality I received at this dealership even though I live within 5 minutes of another. More

I chose Douglas mainly because of the agreessive but pleasant sales pitch from Steve about financing ability. I m so glad I did. Steve was a pleasure to work with. He listened to what I wanted. He was so professional but also down to earth. No pressure, no haggling. I was worried about the stress and the waiting around for hours and not get a car. Steve was such a great salesman he was clear. NONE of that happened here. I will always return for future purchases they have earned my respect and my trust. Nick is a terrific salesman! He is very attentive and certainly knows his stuff when it comes to the cars that he is selling. We recently got a GTI through Nick and he did everything he could to get us t certainly knows his stuff when it comes to the cars that he is selling. In addition, when the car arrived, Nick took his time and walked us through all the features of the car and also told us to call him if we ever have trouble with the car. When I first arrived at the dealership I was not looking to purchase a car, I simply thought I was not ready for it but I was there with my husband while he was getting his car serviced. While we were in the dealership my husband introduced me to David (one of the nicest salesmen I have met and delt with) since he sold my husband his GTI along with 3 of his friends GTI's all of whom are beyond happy. The beetle caught my eye and I knew I wanted to test drive it but was leary because most dealerships push themselves on you but again David quickly changed my view on that. We began talking about my current car situation and we all collectively decided this 2012 Beetle could be a very good option for me. With that said I took the beetle for a test drive and fell in love, I finally found a car that I felt safe in, had all the features I wanted and most of all was in my price point! It has been 3 days now and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. I am now a VW lover and quiet honestly don't think I would ever go to a different make or even to a different dealership. It was the most pleasant, quick and easy experience I ever had!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your help! More
