Pennsylvania Turnpike under construction ... nowhere to turn off or pull over in sudden severe and then continuing rain. Noticed minor scoring of windscreen from wire stiffener that runs parallel to rubber blade to provide stiffness. Reason: since it wasn't into position, blade assembly was fraction of inch too long, and was bumping into the opposite blade, thus bending the tip (hence the wire stiffener)slightly. Faxed Douglas Jeep. Explained problem. They said bring it in when next in area. Although our return to Florida was not for 6 months, Douglas Jeep accepted my explanation for the scoring, even though there was no direct evidence of who had caused the problem. They agreed that the only solution was to replace the windscreen glass, which they did, at no charge to me. The work was very quickly done,right at my own home, with excelletn quality and service. The mark of a top-notch organization is what they do when there's a problem, and how they handle it. Douglas Jeep fixed this problem, and have implemented corrective action to ensure no such recurrence. We definitely recommend this company for excellent people, great follow-up, and for exhibiting concern and care for the customer. More

I negotiated a cash out trade in. That is where the dealer takes your trade in but you dont use is as cash down instead they cut you a check for the money. I have done this on numerous occasions and use the money to pay down bills or in this case I want to use it for christmas shopping. It has been 2 weeks and all the finance manager does is laugh and tell the deal has not gone through with the bank yet. We will call you when the check is ready!! I have never been so jerked around on a car deal before and I would never recomend this dealership to anyone for honesty. I own a large local business and do over a million dollars in business a year I am a member of the Chamber of commerce and this is a discraceful way to treat customers. I am so dissapointed More
