I was a bit skeptical to come to this dealership with some of the reviews I read but I was greeted by a very nice gentleman by the name of Peter McIvers. He was very attentive to all my needs. The when it came down to negotiating the price of the car he was very fair and worked very hard to get the vehicle for the price and payment I wanted. Very disappointed in the professionalism of this dealership. Very SAD!!!!! I was interested purchasing an F250 from their dealership online. Spoke with Eric numerous times and assured him if eve dealership. Very SAD!!!!! I was interested purchasing an F250 from their dealership online. We left for an hour and 1/2 ride to Venice and received a phone call telling us they "JUST" sold the F250. Eric was "willing" to sell us another truck. hmmmmmm....I believe you would call this BAIT and SWITCH. Please be very careful when dealing with this dealership. I wrote the meaning out of what Bait is Switch means so Douglas Jeep knows what they are doing to their customers. Bait-and-switch is a form of fraud used in retail sales but also employed in other contexts. First, customers are "baited" by merchants' advertising products or services at a low price, but when customers visit the store, they discover that the advertised goods are not available, or the customers are pressured by sales people to consider similar, but higher priced items ("switching").
