Thanks for your feedback. We spoke with Eric regarding your comments. Although you had expressed interest in buying the F250, there was no deposit or signature to secure the vehicle from sale. Another salesperson sold it before your appointment time, and Eric courteously called you immediately to save you from driving down here. We understand your frustration with not being able to purchase that vehicle, but someone else purchased it before you even arrived to look at it. As far as "bait and switch," we do not and did not engage in such practices. By your own definition, we would have let you drive all the way down here and then tried to sell you a different vehicle. In fact, we called to tell you the car was sold before you arrived. We are sorry that this purchase didn't work out for you, and we wish you luck in your vehicle search. Here my response from the dealership from my previous post: This statement is mostly xx. I spoke with Eric for three days and offered to put a deposit on the vehicle. I asked directly how much. I was promptly told that the dealership does not take deposits. I was never offered to sign anything as I would have. It could have been faxed or emailed to me and I would have completed what ever you needed. Other dealerships locally pulled the same thing. They still have the vehicles listed on the websites but they supposedly have been sold for weeks now. Don't bring up things we didn't do, when in fact we tried to do. How hard would it be to say to another possible client that we have someone coming today to purchase that vehicle. Please let me have your name and number and we will call you if they turn it down. Those are the practices I use to keep my business afloat and customers returning and happy. By the way, we ended up buying from another Dodge dealership. Truck was same advertised price, gave 19,000 for my trade and we spent 7000.00 cash. I do appreciate the call from Eric letting me know the vehicle was sold, but seems a little fishy to me. Did a conscious get to someone to let me drive that far? It will never be known. If nothing else, let this be a learning experience for the dealership. It was for me!
