After having poor experiences with several other dealers in South Florida, I stumbled upon Douglas Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge through an internet search for the vehicle I was seeking. While I've come to expect the same old bate & switch tactics and manipulations employed by most dealers, I was very pleasantly surprised with my dealings with Bert Desmond. When I called to inquire about the vehicle, I spoke with Bert and he seemed very knowledgeable about the specific car I was interested in - a good start. After only a 5-10 minute discussion, I felt confident I was getting an honest assessment of the vehicle's condition and I made an offer to purchase. Bert called me back about 15 minutes later with a very reasonable "All Inclusive" counter-offer and I accepted. When I drove the four hour trip to purchase the vehicle the next day, I found Bert both competent & professional. Most importantly, the deal we finalized on the vehicle was exactly as stated by Bert over the phone. What a surprise, a dealer with No games, No hidden fees & No hassles! We went in to have an oil change for our 2009 Dodge Journey. While we were waiting, we decided to look at new Journeys to kill time.
