Craig Nereim was our salesman. My Wife and I were impressed with his knowledge and enjoyed his helpful, no pressure approach. Douglas had the van we wanted. We reached a good price and made the purchase. We had arrived late in the afternoon, but the Douglas staff never hurried us with any part of the sale, and subsequent finance work. Thanks to Craig Nereim, Zach Jones, and Todd Mangrum. Worth the drive to Venice. We hope the service department is as good as the sales. More

Auto Repair Had a very interesting thing happen to my Jeep while driving. The car seemed to just slip out of gear while traveling approx. 40 mph. The car was sti Had a very interesting thing happen to my Jeep while driving. The car seemed to just slip out of gear while traveling approx. 40 mph. The car was still in drive but did no longer could cruse in a normal capacity even though in was still in drive. Tim took the car in and they began the work. The mechanic was having a very hard time troubleshooting the problem and ended up contacting the Mfg. for assistance. Long story short, they all did an outstanding job even though Tim was a little frustrated because he could not release the car to me until it was repaired properly. He maintained his professionalism and did a great job with follow up. Thank you all and especially to Tim for making this rather unusual experience a bit more enjoyable. GREAT JOB!!! More

Unprofessional and Embarrassing I drove 1.5 hours to look a car last week. I was told before I went to the dealer by Mike Moore that the vehicle would be out front and ready for me t I drove 1.5 hours to look a car last week. I was told before I went to the dealer by Mike Moore that the vehicle would be out front and ready for me to view. When I showed up the vehicle was out front as they said it would be. That was the best part of the experience. The vehicle was filthy ( comment by Mr. Moore upon us getting into the vehicle was, "Wow this really needs a wash). After about 30 minutes I was offered to take it for a test drive. Upon entering the vehicle I asked questions about the operation of the vehicle. Mr. Moore did not know how to operate the convertible top, what the internal handles were for (that come to find out opened the door from the inside). The vanity mirrors on the visors had been removed, oil life read 36% (though I was made aware of the fact that all vehicles were run through a vigorous inspection upon trade in). I asked about the car fax because the vehicle had been in an accident, which seemed quite alarming to the salesman and felt lied to by Mr. Moore about the damage. Upon returning to the dealership I was offered a low ball offer (quite embarrassing to be completely honest) for my vehicle. This was a very shady, typical used car salesman feel. Not only would I be careful if you were a potential customer looking to buy a vehicle from this shady group of people, you might want to look into a fair market value appraisal of your vehicle before you go there. Upon the insulting offer for my vehicle and the overpriced (with no concession for the condition) proposed price for their vehicle, Mr. Moore said, "even though your car is perfect and our car is dirty, missing the mirrors and has an accident, would you like to counter?" It was said in a very condencending way as to not really care about the presentation of the or business model or product.
