This was by far the easiest vehicle purchase through a car dealer that I have ever done! I worked with Rowdy and not one time did I feel like I was being jerked around not only that they are not charging car dealer that I have ever done! I worked with Rowdy and not one time did I feel like I was being jerked around not only that they are not charging the garbage "Market Adjustments" that everyone is charging. I paid MSRP which is fair, there was no stupid dealer tactics which I really appreciate. My only gripe is that the car went through some serious weather in transit and it was not detailed very well on the outside but I chocked it up to them being busy. More
I worked with Bailey Winter on getting things set up for a new lease and he was phenomenal. Talk about upfront, honest and personable! Our car was brought in for service on December 20th. This was the 3rd time our car has been at Doug Smith Kia for the SAME problem. Today is January 11th and we STILL do not have our vehicle. The repair center has been telling us "it will be done next week" for 2 straight weeks. It still isn't done!! This is beyond rediculous!! More
Horrible customer service, they wouldn’t help me with something that took another dealer 2 mins to do. They wasn’t busy at all must of the sales team with sitting around talking or watching movies on the something that took another dealer 2 mins to do. Beware, Kia offers warranty for new cars but no guarantee on WHEN, it might take weeks for them to fix it. That was my case, a 1/2 hour software update took them 26 days to get to, although I asked them to on WHEN, it might take weeks for them to fix it. That was my case, a 1/2 hour software update took them 26 days to get to, although I asked them to do a quick check when I dropped it off and they refused to do it. They do not offer a rental car option while you car wait to be seen (26 days) unless you want to pay for it. So if you can afford to be 26 days without a car, you should buy from Kia. More

Let me start of by saying I hate the car buying experience. I hate going to a dealership, hate the typical salespeople circling like vultures circling an animal near death, hate what feels like a l experience. I hate going to a dealership, hate the typical salespeople circling like vultures circling an animal near death, hate what feels like a lack of transparency, hate them squeezing you for every penny they can get. Hate hate hate all of it. This is the first vehicle buying experience that I not only didn't hate, but actually enjoyed. I parked, for our of my vehicle and made it into the building workout a single person latching into me like a leech on a re-attached limb. We already knew the specific vehicle we wanted, and here's how it went. Dru found the vehicle, got the keys, and let us look it over, inside and out. We took it for a drive with him in the back and for the entirety of the drive, not once did he push anything on us, talk about price, numbers, or anything about the sale. We talked like people talking and getting to know each other. When we got back, we talked numbers, told him what we were looking to get to, then started the paperwork. He showed us different term options with different down payments that weren't wow low enough, so we asked to find out what down payment weed need to get us to our target payment. That was quickly resolved, then the usual wait for the loan application approval started. Once that finished, we talked to another equally pleasant finance person. The signing was clear, straight forward, nothing snuck in, nothing pushed on us, just the vehicle we wanted, the down payment we offered, and the digital paperwork to be signed. We signed, for the temp registration and left. All the usual nuts and bolts of buying a vehicle with NONE of the usual experience I've come to absolutely despise. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy buying a vehicle from DS Kia, I will continue bringing business to them anytime I need a vehicle. Dru and Lynn are a real credit to their profession and I hope other dealerships take a page or two from their book. It wasn't sales, it was outstanding customer service by understanding what we needed and helping us find what met those needs. Bravo and well done, you have a customer for life. More
