Bought the first of the tow new cars I was looking for from them because they are the "hometown" dealer and the promised to "take good care of a local guy because we could do business for years'. I now travel an hour to a different city even though I can walk home from their dealership. When I bought the car they were more interested in selling me an $1,800 warranty, gap insurance and dinging me for a high interest rate instead of getting my car prepped. When I declined the warranty I had to deal with the sales person, the finance person and the manager all trying to convince me I NEEDED the warranty and insurance they sold because no one else's was any good. I had to threaten to walk out on the deal to have then shop for a loan for me instead of their 8.9% junk and was accepted by a national bank for half that amount. After three hours I got the key to my new car only to be told " we did not have time to prep it for you so bring it back on Monday." So I left my new car with them for a whole day to get it ready. Turns out I would get used to leaving my new car with them all day while I drove my old car to work only to find out the salesperson never talked to any one, never called me about my car and never got the problem fixed. I had to have a shouting match in the showroom to get anyone to look at my car and they solved the problem in less than 10 minutes. My impression of this dealership was incompetent and that they wanted your last dollar. If they did not think you had anymore to get they did not give a rip about you or your business. When trying to get my car taken car of so I could actually drive it, the salesperson would not even call me. I had to make repeated calls while at work to get a hold of him. Save yourself a lot of trouble and aggravation, find a different dealer. I now know why the long time Tarboro resident told me to go to Willson to buy a car. More
Jay Coggins made every effort to find a vehicle within my price range that I would be pleased with. He kept in contact with me and answered all my questions in a friendly manner. I have dealth with this dealership for over 40 years. Altough most of the people have changed the courtesy has not. I will continue to buy my FORD products from them. The salesman (Brandon Drake) and the service manager Glenn Lupton have been great to work with. The problem starts with two of the sales managers, Jeff Heflin and Brandon Mansour. Both these individuals Glenn Lupton have been great to work with. The problem starts with two of the sales managers, Jeff Heflin and Brandon Mansour. Both these individuals lack customer service skills to be working in any kind of business. One was arrogant and the other did not believe in customer service after the sale. I have had issues with the check engine light coming on and Glenn is working with me to get it fixed. The only reason I bought the used vehicle was of the price even though I had to drive an hour and 15 minutes to get it. I even sent an email to the owner, who never replied. More
