Although previously unfamiliar with this dealership, we found a great used vehicle through Donley. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Would definitely go back! Thanks for the great service. Routine maintenance and hitch installation were done satisfactorily and in a timely manner, however there is a recall on my vehicle for a drivetrain module update and this was not addressed. satisfactorily and in a timely manner, however there is a recall on my vehicle for a drivetrain module update and this was not addressed. I was extremely disappointed in the lack of request that were actually completed. I took my truck in for 2 recalls, shaking in the steering/looseness in the tie rod assembly, and a leaking oil pan. I was to were actually completed. I took my truck in for 2 recalls, shaking in the steering/looseness in the tie rod assembly, and a leaking oil pan. I was told on the looseness in the tie rods was normal when speaking to the service writer, and that the truck had been road tested and verified repairs on the shaking. I had recorded the mileage when I dropped it off, and checked it on my Ford app after the call. I don't know what the service writers idea of a road test is, but an issue that happens above 45 miles per hour cannot be verified it was fixed in 3 tenths of a mile. When I confronted her that that short of a distance there was no way it was test drove to verify the fix, she said she knew for a fact that it had been test drove. She offered to get the technician that worked on it, which confirmed that I was right, and he did not test drive to verify the fix. The looseness that I was told was normal, after crawling undet my truck in the parking lot to show the technician exactly what I was talking about, he agreed was not normal. Problem number 2, the oil pan was confirmed to be leaking. Apparently there was an issue with the air compressor, so they could not repair it. I was told it would be a 2 to 3 day repair, which was fine since I dropped it off at the beginning of my vacation and didn't have to have it. Under normal circumstances I absolutely can not go 2 to 3 without it. A little background on myself, I am an ASE certified technician, and only took my vehicle to Donley because it was under warranty. I know when steering issues are normal or not, and find it completely unprofessional that they could not fix the oil pan leak just because of an air compressor. I know it isn't ideal, but it can still be done with hand tool, and still completed in a reasonable time frame. I found my entire experience disappointing, and the service writer extremely unprofessional. She spoke as if I knew nothing, and I had no clue what I was talking about. I hope that is not the normal way she speaks to customers, because someone that doesn't have the knowledge that I do could be seriously hurt or killed by what she claims is normal. More
