Hello I stopped in to Don Vance Ford on August 7 2021 and stopped and looked at the truck I was interested in buying I walked into the building and was greeted by a gentlemen in sales and I asked about a tru stopped and looked at the truck I was interested in buying I walked into the building and was greeted by a gentlemen in sales and I asked about a truck that was on the website that I had just looked at from the outside "doors locked" and the gentlemen clearly stated that the truck had just come in and had not been through the shop yet. I stated that I was perfectly fine with that but if I could look at it and drive it anyway he stated that would be no problem he would get the key and bring the truck to the front door where I was waiting. I, my wife and my twin daughters stood outside and waited we watched the gentlemen come out of the shop and he was about 35 feet away from the truck and unlocked the doors how I know all the lights come on with the remote unlock. He then walked back over to us and said that he could not find the key but as most people know the unlock button is right on the same key fob that starts the vehicle. He did say it's unlocked and you can look at the inside if you would like. Remember my wife, I, and my twin daughters had just tried before going to the office to speak to someone about buying the truck. He also told me his service manager must of taken home the keys and he could not get him on the phone. I just feel that something is not right with the whole Don Vance experience. Note: I just moved to the area a year ago and have heard nothing but good about Don Vance. I now have a different thought of my own personal experience. I would not recommend this dealer at all for a vehicle. More
This was my first car buying experience and Logan and the team made it great. Would highly recommend this dealership and their staff. Everything from the initial outreach, to the test drive, to the financing team made it great. Would highly recommend this dealership and their staff. Everything from the initial outreach, to the test drive, to the financing experience was far above expectations. I was very impressed that Logan knew the answer to every question I asked about the vehicle and never once had to say “I’ll get back to you on that”. This was a far superior experience than the one I received at another dealership I was considering. Logan took the time to get to know me and my needs, followed up quickly, and made the experience just great. More

Not only did they try to short me on my trade in (I did my research on NADA pricing and what the truck actually costs with all of my after market parts), but Gary Skelton refused to negotiate with me on pricing. How are you going to be a salesmen and refuse to negotiate a high priced truck? I wasn't bringing a piece of junk to trade in either, so what I asked for was completely doable and reasonable. I was very interested because the truck was built exactly the way I wanted it to be. It was a custom order, so the sale was almost guaranteed, and he STILL managed to blow it. When the truck was in, I was in the middle of my work week and he left me a voice-mail stating that I had to hurry up and make sure I was going to buy this vehicle or if he could go ahead and put it on the lot. Are you kidding Me? I ORDERED THE TRUCK WITH MY MONEY!!! I had the credit and the co-signer lined up. All he had to do was throw me a good deal, because I'm not agreeing on a price on a truck that I can't see. He laughed in my face and then smirked the entire time he walked over to the truck that I had already put money on for an order. I went to multiple dealerships for pricing on my trade in and brought it up with Gary, he wasn't even listening, all he did was pull up a paper from the file and say that it was the final offer. I had added multiple things onto my trade in before I came back and he refused to even listen to me. I'll be removing their badge from my truck today. I will never forget what happened today and how I was treated. I will always recommend people to stay away from this lot. Drive to Springfield! Corwin is a much better option and I should've went through them! My parents have ordered many vehicles through them, but have now told me that they will never come back because of this situation. Like I said in the beginning, avoid this place if you're looking for a truck, they are a joke. More
A friend of my husband’s was trading in a truck and we were going to buy the trade. Friend told salesman we wanted the truck. We called them and told them we wanted the truck. We were told not to come down that day as the truck had to be throughly checked out. Next day salesman calls but we didn’t get to the phone in time and IMMEDIATELY called back, kept going directly to voicemail. Seen the truck listed online and called the dealership and left messages. Even explained to a different salesperson what was going on, he sent us to voicemail. Finally our salesperson calls to get our email address to send us the hold deposit form. Less than an hour later he text my husband to tell him a different salesperson sold the truck. Absolutely disgusting behavior from a business. Drag it out for two days just to tell us they sold it out from under us. We will not ever buy anything from Don Vance auto group!!! More
