I was trying to cover all of the bases, but I really had it in my mind that I was buying a used vehicle I'd seen from another dealership. Long story short, I ended up buying a new Forester at Don Miller East in jasmine green. There were some complications with the trade-in when I didn't have the title with me and I had lots of questions, but John Belken was very nice and patient with me during the whole process. He didn't pressure us, and because of this, he made a hard decision a whole lot easier for me. Likewise, Daleena was super nice and accommodating with us! She helped us worked out a solution so we wouldn't have to drive all the way back home in our old car that day when it was so hot out. The two of them (along with many others, I'm sure) made the whole experience a really good one! More

John Belken and my Crosstrek! I have never owned a Subaru before but I knew I wanted a manual transmission car that would handle well in the snow. The Crosstrek kept coming up in the research I did online and I decided to reach out to Don Miller Subaru East through the website, asking them to contact me. Dean Woldstad, the Internet Sales Manager reached out to me within less than 15 minutes. I told Dean I didn't want to mess around, didn't want a high pressure sales pitch, and that I was only interested in manual transmission cars. Dean listened and responded perfectly by connecting me with John Belken. I met with John the next day, he immediately provided me with a manual transmission to test drive and walked me through the features, without any pressure. John made sure I understood the different models, their benefits, but let me determine what my best fit would be. I ended up selecting the Crosstrek in the highest model available with manual transmission but told John I had a limited window in which to pick it up. John came through, made sure it was ready for me at that time, walked me through the key pieces (the tech stuff), and I was out the door in less than an hour. I wanted the no hassle, no haggle, value driven car buying experience and John Belken, Dean Woldstad, and the entire Subaru crew at Don Miller Subaru East made sure that happened for me. I use to be skeptical about LEASING I had never leased a car before. There were so many parts of the lease I didn't understand. I wanted a new car but didn't want the long term payments I had never leased a car before. There were so many parts of the lease I didn't understand. I wanted a new car but didn't want the long term payments of ownership. Not to mention all the costs after the factory warranty expired. You know, tires, brakes, wipers, etc. Even worse a big repair! Well my Sales & Leasing consultant John Belken (who was great) convinced me and put my LEASE fears to rest.
