Delighted with my 2018 Subaru Outback My last car was a 2010 Subaru Outback, and I it was one of the best cars I everr owned. Reliable, safe and with smooth ride - an all round great car. The eyesight is a wonderful feature, and so far I'm equally impressed with the handling and capabilities of the 2018. David Stellflue was a phenomenal salesperson. He dealt with us fairly, and gave us an acceptable trade-in value for our older vehicles. The whole process of purchasing the new car was professionally executed. Kate Fischer was very helpful with understanding all of the new tech on the Outback. She was extremely patient and thoughtfully explained all of the new features. She answered all the questions we had on the car. More
What the experience should be! John was extraordinarily patient in dealing with us seniors. He was friendly, polite and never dismissive. Easy to work with! Connor was great to work with. Love means being more than a car company. I came in towards the end of June wanting to test drive the brand new Ascent which wasn't available at dealerships (ie., Don Miller West) other than t I came in towards the end of June wanting to test drive the brand new Ascent which wasn't available at dealerships (ie., Don Miller West) other than the East Side one. I had no expectations of making a purchase at that time, however the ride and experience of the Ascent was exceptional - certainly the ride was better than I had anticipated it would be on the Touring Model. I had the opportunity to test drive the Touring and Pete (our salesman) answered all questions and presented the vehicle in an excellent manner. In the interim, the touring I test drove was sold and when I brought my boss (re: wife) to to test drive she noted the significant roll that the non touring model had; when I test drove it I noticed it as well. Fortunately, another Ascent Touring became available and we were able to test drive it and noticed that likely due to bigger wheel/tire size it had significantly less roll to it than the non-Touring models - just barely noticeable. As we were about to move from Madison to TN, Pete pointed out that there may be a sales tax savings (TN only has a sales tax - no income, so this would be significant) to complete the purchase and have it registered in WI and pay sales tax before we moved rather than to purchase the care in TN. This certainly made sense to us and after confirming with our CPA that we wouldn't be paying double tax, we made the decision to go ahead and proceed with the purchase. When I came in to arrange finances for our deal as Pete wasn't available his colleague, Gavin, was able to help me. They are very collegial at this dealership and the transition of care between the salesmen was seamless. They were both excellent to work with. Though I must say that "little" Pete is someone that makes you feel like you would want to buy a car from him - Not pushy, nonjudgmental, and really just there to guide you through your journey. Finally, Daleena with the credit department was able to help us get an incredible deal with our credit and this was greatly appreciated. This last step went smoothly though was spread over a period of 2 days (I happen to get in on the day before her off day - Wednesday). In the interim, Pete sent me a picture of our vehicle after we had the "exterior auto-dimming mirrors" option installed and this was appreciated. I am happy that we purchased in Madison before leaving. We had ample extra storage to carry stuff during our move to our new home - Amazingly, you really can't tell that the car is carrying out all that extra weight! But it was certainly lighter after we emptied it out. The beauty of Subaru is that the global service and warranty will be accepted at all Subaru's across the US. Incredibly happy with our purchase. The way car buying should be! I had several different vehicles I was considering. I arrived at the dealership and took my time on the lot to find at least 3 differently equipt Suba I had several different vehicles I was considering. I arrived at the dealership and took my time on the lot to find at least 3 differently equipt Subaru Imprezas that had the EyeSight Adaptive Cruise Control that I wanted. I walked into the showroom and John Belken reached out to assist me. I test drove two different trim level Imprezas. John answered all of the questions I had about them in a friendly calm manner. He was considerate enough that when I explained that I had two other competing vehicles to look at, he didn't go into the "High Pressure" mode I've experienced at other dealerships. After trying to review my other vehicle choices, I did return to complete my purchase with John and his teammates Rory Klossner (finance) and Kate Fischer (Delivery Specialist). I am completely satisfied with my car purchase experience with John Belken and the rest of the team at Don Miller Subaru East! More

Pete Shur answered the phone and said to come on out to take a look at one he had there that was already sold. We knew that standard transmission on new vehicles was becoming pretty rare and we were grateful to be able to check it out. We immediately loved it and knew we wanted to order one. Pete’s no nonsense approach was much appreciated and as we waited for it to be delivered, Pete called to let us know the status of the delivery date. Pete was easy to work with, professional, and trustworthy. He helped to make purchasing this new car a pleasurable experience. We would highly recommend Pete’s expertise to anyone in the market for a new vehicle. More

When the vehicle was ready and I came to pick it up, he presented some add-on options in an enthusiasic but absolutely non-pushy way. He gave my husband and me an orientation to all the electronics and special features of the vehicle, which gave us a lot of confidence! After a week of driving my new Ascent, I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Pete and the entire Don Miller Subaru East team. I would buy another Subaru from them in an instant if I needed another vehicle. Highly recommended!! More
