When i tired to start it the engine tried to crank but only made an unusual noise. I had the vehicle towed to Don Mealey as that is where I purchased the vehicle. I allegedly have an extended warranty. Although I was hesitant to give them another chance since during a previous service request, Don Mealey refused to honor the extended warranty and I had to pay over $1,000.00 to have my vehicle repaired at another facility, but i was unsure as to why the engine would not start. Once again the service writer advised me I did not have an extended warranty. I requested he check with the sales department and get back to me the next day. I was called back at 3:00 pm and advised the car only needed a battery. I was advised by the service writer, Chris, that my battery was "dead" and would not hold a charge. I questioned this as the battery was recently replaced and less than 6 months old. He advised that it might be a bad cell, or a short in the battery. I needed my car, so asked that the battery be replaced. Upon picking up my car, I paid the core charge and asked for my old battery back. At first they seemed hesitant to give it to me, but upon agreeing to pay the core charge t was provided to me. It soon became clear why they were hesitant to give me back my battery. Since leaving the dealership, my check engine light has come back on, the car idles rough, AND, I have had the battery inspected from the auto parts store where I purchased the battery, as well as two (2) independent auto parts stores and an independent mechanic. All four have agreed that the battery is fine. It had 90% life on one meter, it had 609 of 615 amps on another meter. The mechanic confirmed the battery would work by disconnecting the "new" battery and connecting the old battery back up and the started. He did advise the car needed a tune up as there codes that arose from the check engine light coming on. It is clear that Don Mealey has no intent of ever honoring the extended warranty I purchased, no intent of ever diagnosing the problems with the car, and has committed FRAUD in selling me a part (battery) which I never needed. The were nice and smiled as they comiited fraud and tole my money is all I can say good about the dealership More
Best service department out of every dealership I've been to I have owned Fords, Mercedes, Toyotas, the list goes on. This is by far the bes dealership service department I have EVER been to. Service is the quickest I have ever experienced, 3 different instances they could have taken advantage of me buying add on parts etc and they fixed things for free under warranty when I could have spent a few hundred dollars. They also have told me I already had a leveling kit when I had ordered one and brought my truck in to have it put on. The list goes on with how impressed I am and I will never buy another truck not a Chevy/gmc just for the fact this service department is phenomenal!!! Thanks Ricky & Louis More
2 Hour plus Oil Change I called today for an oil change appointment. I noted I had a coupon and was quickly told the price would not be honored because my car requires spec I called today for an oil change appointment. I checked in and the sales rep was friendly and quick telling me I would pay a certain amount, which is still discounted even though I couldn't get the rotation/oil change amount on the coupon. I waited and waited and after 1 1/2 hours finally the service rep came to tell me the oil filter was not in stock and would arrive from NAPA in about 10 minutes. About 1/2 hour later after a total of 2 plus hours the car was ready. I went to check out and the price I was quoted was not on the invoice. The person handling the invoice payment was kind, made the change, and I paid. While waiting in line a woman who came in after me and waited a long time too was given a free oil change/rotation. I was not offered anything. Although I saw the Service Manager walking around while I waited I was never approached to see why I was still there. I can get my car and oil change anywhere. I buy cars where the service is good, rather than the other way around. My disappointment should show. I don't plan to use Don Mealey again! Disappointed Customer, Don Dunn More

The staff and technicians will take the time to listen to my observed symptoms with sincerity. In my opinion, they are second to none in the Orlando area based on my experiences with other dealership service centers and other brand name shops in the area. Their prices are also very competitive even with non-dealership shops. They quoted me over $1,000 less on a break job than a non-dealership shop who claims to be cheaper than anyone else. On any given day while at the shop, I see numerous Corvette's, Camaro's, trucks, and a variety of other vehicles of different makes and models being serviced. More
I have been going to the service department at Don Mealey for awhile now and Ricky Jordan has always been outstanding in his service to me. Ricky is very friendly and will greet me immediately when he sees for awhile now and Ricky Jordan has always been outstanding in his service to me. Ricky is very friendly and will greet me immediately when he sees me pull into the service area. He listens to what I have to say about the vehicle and will thoroughly explain what repairs need to be done. Ricky will also work diligently to get me the best price on parts needed and gets the repairs done in a reasonable amount of time. I always make sure to ask for Ricky when I take the vehicle in as I know I will get the best service possible. More

The employees I normally deal with (Jerry Merriman and Eva) and alway long-time customer of the service department of Don Mealey Chevrolet Clermont. The employees I normally deal with (Jerry Merriman and Eva) and always respecful, friendly and efficient. I also value the convenience of the shuttle service provided to and from my home and the benefits of the customer lounge when I wait on my car. More
We took our Pontiac to Don Mealy because they're the closest GM dealer. Our Pontiac was recalled. We took it in and they needed to evaluate it. We were called in about an hour and they replied that a part must be ordered. They promised to call us as soon as it arrived. Well, in a week we hadn't heard from them and decided that we'd better call. The person that took the call said that they didn't phone because their computer does not call cells. My wife said that we were in the book and this employee's response was " that would take some brains and effort ". We made an appointment for the next day and delivered the car around 1:00. We told them we were there because of a recall. In about an hour we were called by another employee and he said they had done the evaluation and they needed to order the part. I just about jumped through the phone. He came back a couple of minute later and said it would be done in a couple of hours. When my wife signed to pick it up, she said the lady behind the desk was completely unfriendly and bordered on being rude. This used to be Bill Siedell Chevy and they had a horrible service department. I thought since the owner was changed, maybe the service had changed. Apparently not. More
