A+ on My Salesman But C on the Timeliness of Paying for it. My salesman was great. If I could have just handed him my check and left the whole experience would have been great. Unfortunately I had to wait for the Credit Manager to become available in order to pay Cash for the car. The Credit Manager was nice but a Cash customer shouldn't have to wait in line to pay for the car. I arrived at 5:30pm; drove the car for approximately 45 min; started the buying process around 6:30pm and didn't get to leave until 8:30pm. In addition we had to walk across the parking lot to a different building to pay for the car. I wondered what would have happened if it had been raining. This is the third car I've bought from Don Carlton; I didn't have this issue in the previous two transactions. The checkout process needs to be improved. More

Very Satisfied Have always hated the car buying experience over the years, but in the last year knew I needed to trade-in my 2006 Honda CRV (had it for about 10 year Have always hated the car buying experience over the years, but in the last year knew I needed to trade-in my 2006 Honda CRV (had it for about 10 years and it was a great vehicle) for something a little newer. At almost 200,000 miles I had my first major issue with the 2006 Honda---the air conditioner went out so I knew it was time to face facts--time to trade up. The first salesman (Juan) that approached me was respectful, kind, light-hearted, listened to my needs, and immediately put me at ease. Told him what I wanted: another Honda CRV, fairly low miles, in good condition, and within my monthly budget. In not more than 2 hours (usually spend 6-8 hours buying a car), I had a beautiful 2015 Honda CRV in mint condition. Everyone was nice, respectful, and did not pressure me at all. Never had "fun" buying a car before---this time, I can say it was fun, and I am very happy with the experience and the vehicle. Would recommend Don Carlton Honda to anyone and will definitely go back there again!! More
