I recently purchased a used 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 MegaCab from a different dealership in Reno. The previous owner did not leave the owners manual in the truck. I went to Reno Dodge to order the manuals. I from a different dealership in Reno. The previous owner did not leave the owners manual in the truck. I went to Reno Dodge to order the manuals. I was told by the girl at the service counter when I ordered and paid for the manuals that they would be there within 7-10 business days. 10 business days later I called to check the status of my order. The same girl answered the phone and argued with me over when I had ordered the manuals even though I was staring at my receipt. She then proceded to tell me that they were backordered and I would be called when they came in. Over a month later I still had not recieved a call, so I called back. The phone in the parts dept was answered by a man who immediately asked if I could hold and then put me on hold before I could even respond. When he finally came back on the line, I asked about the manuals and was told that the girl who ordered them would have to call me back. She did call me back and told me that my manuals had actually just arrived today. I am pretty sure she was lying to me, the manuals had been sitting there and I was never called. This whole experience cost me $43.00 and was an eye opener for me regarding their service. I will definately never take my truck there for service and I will not waste my time ordering parts from them. More
to be fair went looking at new challengers ended up with a used charger. and i love it, except two problems. i took it for a test drive and fell in love with it, except the wheels, has an expensive set of b a used charger. and i love it, except two problems. i took it for a test drive and fell in love with it, except the wheels, has an expensive set of black chrome 22's which are peeling and looked like someone had tried painting them and thats peeling to, so i agreed to still purchase the car if they would get me a set of stock charger rt wheels, well the first set they gave were 17s and wouldnt fit over the brakes have to be 18s. so i take them back, they were going to find a set of stock rts, after a week and no call i called them they say got a charger in come in wed and we'll swap. i show up wed and they sold the other car day before. so the say go to les swhab get new ones pick what you want we''ll pay 1000 if you pick up the rest so i'm thinking 100 to 200 on my part. whoo can buy wheels and tires size 18 for 1000 any way. get to les swhab they give me 3 choices min amont is 1600 then i have to also purchase lugnuts because mine wont work and new tpms sensors becaus thers none on the car. which will put me over 2000 total. so ive been waiting 3 weeks now to switch wheels out. and still have a great car with crappy looking wheels that i paid 24000 dollars for. also les swchab says they cant sell a vehicle that is equipped with tpms if it doesnt have it working properly. you take this how you want i got a great car but still feel jipped, not happy. still deciding if i will do anything ther again, such as purchase, or maintenance. had a decent experience except for this. I moved to Reno and bought a Durango at Don Weir's dealership. They sold me a 'brand new' Durango. Two weeks later I brought it in to the service department to determine why it was out of alignment. I dealership. They sold me a 'brand new' Durango. Two weeks later I brought it in to the service department to determine why it was out of alignment. I was informed this vehicle had been in an accident. This was never disclosed when bought. Worse still, they only had the body fixed. The entire front end underneath the car was bent up including tie rods and shocks and glass was still in the hub. I spoke with a salesman that said he witnessed that particular vehicle getting 'T-Boned' as it left the lot driven by a disgruntled buyer after failing to return the vehicle and cancel his contract. I also heard terms like "8 pounder" meaning the customer just overpaid by $8,000.00. They like to brag about things like that. If you walk in, walk in with a calculator and figure out what you're really paying for your car. You agree to a price and they will tell you the monthly payment represents the price. If you believe them you just overpaid. More
Reno dodge cashed a down payment check for a car they never sold to me, which has cost me about 600.00 in overdraft and late fees, and won't even apologize, much less return the money. They even went so never sold to me, which has cost me about 600.00 in overdraft and late fees, and won't even apologize, much less return the money. They even went so far as to blame me for their mistake. I wish I ould have walked away the day I heard their receptionist bragging about her sexual conquests and using the f-word very liberally in front of me, or when i heard the general manager tell the finance guy that the salesman wanted to beat him up. I should have known then they they were dirty. More
All it comes down to is this dealership is filled with crooks. Ive never felt so harassed in my life as Ben Owings and Reno Dodge have made me feel. I came into Reno Dodge from three hours out of tow crooks. Ive never felt so harassed in my life as Ben Owings and Reno Dodge have made me feel. I came into Reno Dodge from three hours out of town and a woman looking to find out what problem my truck was having. The problem was it would lose speed going up an incline. I barely made it to Reno where i stopped in a local repair shop for them to run a diagnostics test. I was then referred to Don Weir Dodge. There i dealt with Ben Owings and being a new victim of theirs, he told me a number of possible problems my truck could be experiencing. Although there were a number of possibilities that could be wrong Ben had emphasized that it could be contaminated fuel and if that was the case i should turn it into insurance because "insurance will cover it". He had a previous customer do that very thing as he had told me. The next day I received a call from Ben confirming the worst; contaminated fuel...which was not covered under warranty and i would need at least $6500.00 worth of work to fix my vehicle. With this being said I had arranged for my truck to be towed home and have a second evaluation. I was very skeptical of Ben's evaluation because i found out he had only pulled a fuel sample out and found sediment in the fuel filter (normal for a fuel filter in diesel engines) instead of doing an injector test and accurately diagnosing the test for fuel contamination. When my truck arrived at the other dealership i was told the warranty was restricted due to fuel contamination. This statement was absurd for two reasons. 1. Reno Dodge had not performed all proper tests to prove 100% my truck had contaminated fuel. 2. When Ben had called me he had not revealed any crucial information of my warranty, on my brand new truck, being restricted! The story becomes even more ridiculous as i find out Ben Owings lied to Nevada Representatives of Chrysler telling them i had came into Reno Dodge twice before and had injectors replaced and fuel tank out of my truck and flushed because of contaminated fuel issue. This was a blatant lie and i could not believe my ears with what i was being told. Ben Owings went out of his way to make sure if he didn't rip me off for unwarranted work that i would not be able to get my truck fixed anywhere else. The irony of the whole story is my truck was tested elsewhere for fuel contamination and that wasn't the problem at all!!! Now im taking legal matters for fraud, perjury, and harassment!! More

Called dealership to make sure they could make a deal with me, submitted my application and was told to come on down. Drove an hour plus to get there and then had to wait for approx. three hours to be to with me, submitted my application and was told to come on down. Drove an hour plus to get there and then had to wait for approx. three hours to be told "Come back tomorrow, our finance guys don't have time today" This was absurd after calling ahead and waiting that long, Wow I guess they didn't want my business. If your going to buy a vehicle DO NOT go here there are dealerships that appreciate their customers and this company doesn't. More

We have brought it in for different services and were treated great.. In November of 08 we encountered a problem with the vehicle. Mel Spencer (service Dept) took the car for repair, after 3 attempts to repair a Factory defect, the car was determined to be UN- repairable... Art Coleman and Mel Spencer went to bat for us and in very reasonable time we were driving out in a brand new vehicle. I can’t say enough well about these 2 individuals and the dealership, they have treaded my wife and I the best anybody could. I have never had a customer relation’s person(Art Coleman) or a service dept manager(Mel Spencer) every call me up after dealing with them, to see if everything had been taken care of properly. Hats off to these 2 people. I would and will recommend Reno Dodge to anybody looking for a new vehicle or service on his or her Dodge vehicles. We are very ;pleased with all the service with Reno Dodge and will definitely return there first on out next car or truck purchase. John and Gisselle Larsen 561 Manzanita Wy. I called Dan Brown regarding an issue with the paint on my 08 Dodge Ram 2500. He had me bring it in yesterday and immediately I was greeted by Dan, Art and Mel. Mel figured out the problem with my paint my 08 Dodge Ram 2500. He had me bring it in yesterday and immediately I was greeted by Dan, Art and Mel. Mel figured out the problem with my paint and instead of me having to bring it back, he resolved the issue himself. Since purchasing my truck in Oct I have had nothing but amazing service from Reno Dodge. Art is the best customer service rep ever! Also, I can always count on Dan to go beyond to assist with any of my questions or needs. Additionally, I now have found yet another incredible customer service expert in Mel (Service Director). When I get in conversations with anyone about either purchasing a new vehicle or having a current one with a service issue I have been raving about Reno Dodge and I will continue to do so. Keep up the great customer service Reno Dodge!!!!! Sincerely, Marci Carson 775.741.3627 More
First off I understand my mistakes and this is taking them into account, My issues are no call backs when promised, Treated rude by sales manager when I didn’t give into his demands, on two separate occa them into account, My issues are no call backs when promised, Treated rude by sales manager when I didn’t give into his demands, on two separate occasions a year apart and different sales manager each time. No follow up? They are way over priced; I went to two other sealers on in Carson and one in Reno who started out at Reno Doges Lowest price. Do not trust them when they say they got you financing, they will come back and change the terms a week later, even thought they will only deal with you based on monthly payment rather then out the door price. They tried this with me and a friend that I brought in. More
