I was very impressed with Omar and his willingness and patience with dealing with me and my family as we were shopping for a new vehicle for my mother. He was very good at listening to our wants and poin patience with dealing with me and my family as we were shopping for a new vehicle for my mother. He was very good at listening to our wants and points that we were looking in a new vehicle and was always making sure that every vehicle he showed us was up to our standards and had the features that she was looking for. He was not pushy with us and allowed us to take our time and look at a few different vehicles to get an idea of what we would want to buy. I would recommend him to all of my friends that are looking for a car since it can be quite the task at times. He made the process easy and I was very pleased with the service he provided. More
Our buying experience began as an online inquiry. We were able to select a car, negotiate the price & arrive in the dealership that evening to test drive & ultimately buy the vehicle. The entire time Larry c able to select a car, negotiate the price & arrive in the dealership that evening to test drive & ultimately buy the vehicle. The entire time Larry continued to reference how he & the dealership "valued our time." As we closed the deal, there were a number of minor things that needed to be handled with the car in terms of cleaning, touch ups, the alarm set up & when we were shown the vehicle the fuel light was on and the miles to empty read less than 20. So in the interest of our time & trying to minimize trips to the dealership, I suggested that we leave the car & pick it up at the end of the next day. Larry insisted that we take it & when we had the car detailed on the upcoming Sunday..."everything would be handled, he would throw in an oil change and a full tank of gas." Since signing the contract the service of Larry & the dealership has been horrible. We have had the car detailed, only to find out that the alarm, scratch repair & other cosmetic fixes have to be scheduled separately...potentially two more trips to the dealership. Larry has been contacted twice & the alarm tech has never returned a phone call to re-schedule that appointment. Furthermore, Larry has never followed up. Second we were told that the other repairs had to wait until the loan funded, there has been no follow up on that either so we can schedule or plan. And finally, we haven't received that infamous oil change credit or a tank of gas. So at this point we are two weeks from the purchase & the only time that Larry or the dealership has been concerned with our time is in relation to the time it took us to sign the contract & get the vehicle off of their lot! Since that point in time, there has been no respect for our time or any respect shown to us as "valued customers". In the end, the way this dealership operates post sale may work for those living in Reno/Sparks. However if you are from outstate NV & are considering this dealership, I would look else where. Remember your time, the miles you are putting on your vehicle and your overall service experience will change once you take that new vehicle off the lot. I read recently that the average American owns 12 cars in their lifetime, I'm on #6. There is a 90% chance that when I am looking at vehicles 7-12 I will not even consider dealing with Reno Dodge, my experience has been that poor. More
