Mike Smith's level of service has declined over the years. My mom has come to this company for oil / brake changes for years on her 2016 Honda Pilot. She trusts them to service and update the parts on years. My mom has come to this company for oil / brake changes for years on her 2016 Honda Pilot. She trusts them to service and update the parts on her SUV if suggested. My mom's car lights with different codes came on. She had it towed to Mike Smith on Dec 21, 2023 and was given service advisor Brittany. The first red flag was my mom had to contact Mike Smith on Dec 26 about her car. Brittany proceeds to tell my mom I was just about to call you (LIES). The service advisor, Brittany, told my mom her car was basically not a priority because they have someone whose car had been there since Dec 6, and this customer has been without a car since Dec 6th. I think that all customers' cars are a priority and should be serviced as such. Every time she contacted her service coordinator Brittany about her car, it was her contacting them, checking in to see the prognosis or progress, and it was always met with I was just about to contact you. They claimed to have fixed it on Jan 2, 2024.The same problem was still occurring, and the car was taken back to Mike Smith Friday. They said they needed another part and it will be fixed on Jan 8, 2024. They said on Monday Jan 8 the car was fixed. They allegedly fixed it on Jan 8. Fast-forward to Jan 11 the same thing is still occurring in the car. Over 2500 paid for them to guesstimate what they thought was wrong with the vehicle and still did not get it right car and her car is sitting there Jan 18, 2024.The tears of disappointment and embarrassment of her car cutting off at a drive-thru display on my mother's face was the last straw for this company. They relying on a computer to tell them the problem instead of actually figuring out what is wrong with the car themselves.They probably drive the car to the front of the building too the back don’t actually take it for a drive to see what the customers are talking about. The servicing and customer service have severely declined. I would suggest you let Mike Smith run a thorough diagnoses on your vehicle and then get it serviced by another Honda automotive company you trust or an automotive company you have reviewed their work. I think the auto technicians at Mike Smith are misquoting prices and were not trying to find the problem because of the holidays etc. These auto technicians at Mike Smith do not care about anyone's car, time, or money and are out strictly for money, or they are simply not qualified for the task at hand. They are not taking pride in their work or show compassion to the customers. I am highly disappointed, and I will not be sending anyone else their way for business or service until they change their quality of service and make things right with my mother. It makes you wonder if you should patronize Mike Smith and if they even fix on the things they quote you in their price of things they had to fix I highly believe they don’t. I want my mom to contact the better business bureau on them because a month is rediculous. More
