I updated this review to 1 star as a result of the dealership’s response. I have been going to Vacaville Ram for some time now for service needs. I took my truck in for a simple oil change and tir dealership’s response. I have been going to Vacaville Ram for some time now for service needs. I took my truck in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. After getting the truck back, while washing it, I noticed that one of my lug nuts was missing on the right/front wheel. Either the tech forgot to put it back on or left it very loose. No big deal and an easy fix fight? Well read on. I called the service department and explained what had happened. I was wondering if I could get a stock lug nut to replace the missing one (approximately a $23.00 part apparently). The representative told me they “would need to see the wheel”. I told her the wheel looks fine and it is just missing the lug nut. Again she told me I would have to make an appointment so they could examine the wheel. I had a busy day ahead and so I offered to send her the above pic. She subsequently transferred me to “Parts” who said they could sell me the lug nut, but could not authorize a free replacement. In the end I went to Hoblit in Woodland and purchased the new part. This review is not about a $25.00 lug nut however (that’s with tax out the door). It is really about customer service and organizational culture. To start, I have to wonder what else was missed if something this obvious was overlooked? Second and most important, If I cannot resolve such a simple issue quickly, how does this dealership handle more serious problems? More

I was there to buy some parts. part department clerk was pretty busy to takling with a guy. he didn't even bother to ask why I was there. I purchased my vehicle their and several times taken my vehicle there for service. They don’t call for updates, they rarely answer phone calls and unable to fix my car. So stressful working with these folks. Services department has a poor service. They will not update you what’s going on with your car until you called them. And I find out the pu wrong radio model - cheaper one without GPS in my car and just said “ oh it hasn’t happed before , I don’t know “ I think they just don’t wanna fix their mistakes and did not respect their customers just after they got my money , they don’t wanna do more work to fix what they did. I do not write this review in anger. It had been a week till now. I need to bring my car to other place , and I swear never in my life I am back this dealer , even more next car . I understand stuff happens and was upset but , when I was looking to have my tow driver drop it off at the dealer , the service dept said , "dont bring it here" ....now I'm REALLY upset! They have no room to park service vehicles nor would they be able to look at it for 2 weeks!! Didnt care that I was stuck on a 2 lane road with a 5th wheel , dogs and my family. Called Hilltop Ram and they were VERY apologetic that this was happening to me and said "get it here" so they could dig into it. This is what I wished I had experienced at Vacaville but didnt go down that way. VERY disappointed! 5 days later , my truck is repaired along with a recall that was outstanding...didn't even ask for that!. I was on a waiting list since Dec 2020 for that recall issue at Vacaville...LOL I will no longer do business with Vacaville and highly recommend others do the same. If you are local , its worth driving a little further for a much better level of service. Amazing how these folks still have customers More

Why would you make appointments online if you dont have them? I'm not taking multiple days off work for you to look at my car. That's what appointments are for!!!
