Unscrupulous dealer. Called and asked for new car sales to inquire on price for Cruz LS with automatic. Associate told me they were on sale. I asked for written quote which the associate emailed to me pr to inquire on price for Cruz LS with automatic. Associate told me they were on sale. I asked for written quote which the associate emailed to me promptly. I called to verify all the additional fees (dealer fee, tax, tag, etc...). The price and fees were acceptable so I asked them to reserve the car as we would be in when they opened the next day. The next day, after spending an hour at the dealership, when it came time for final price it went up $1000 from the quote they gave me less than 24 hours prior. Went five miles down the road to the next best offer I had received. Either their sales staff is untrained and submits offers they can't back-up or this was purposeful deceit. More
When I lived in Florida, I had a 1999 Corvette with electrical problems. THey could not find the root cause of the problem and kept adding all sorts of service charges. I brought the car back 2 times, and they still could not fix the problem. After almost $3,500 of service, I finally brought the car to a local Corvette specialist in Tampa. Although they charge more per hour, they fixed the problem which turned out to be an issue with the starter ground. It ended up costing me a little over $200 from them. I would never bring another car to Dimmett, nor buy a car from them. Bring your vettes to specialists and not Chevy dealers, dealers do not have the trained mechanics needed for a car like a vette. More

The service Manager even called and is setting up my first apt. to make sure I'm totally happy and understand all the tech. in the Avalance. The staff is very curtious and helpfull. I will definatly be trading with them in the future.The paper work is hastle free and very well explained so there is no question about the purchase. Thanks Dimmitt Chevrolet. Michael More
I took my car in for service on a Thursday. It was diagnosed and I was told they had to investigate the issue further. I was told to expect a callback Friday or Monday at the latest. That didn't happen so I called for an update on Wednesday. I spoke to the service writer who apologized and told me he would see what happened and call me back. Again, no callback so I called a few days later. Again, I was told to expect a call back right away and again no one called me. I had poor service at this dealership with my Chevy about 20 years ago and apparently things haven't changed there. I'm done with this dealership for good. More

I QUICKLY DISCOVERED THAT DON WAS INFORMATIVE AND ATTENTIVE. AS WE PROGRESS THROUGH THE SALES PROCESS I FOUND DON TO BE MINDFUL, PROFESSIONAL AND GENUINE. DON, ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS AND REALIZED THAT MECHANICAL SERVICE OF MY VEHICLE WOULD TO CRUCIAL TO THE FINAL SALE.
