As a business owner I understand how important customer service and personal relationships with customers are. Any dealer can just sell you the car. Dimmit team is there before, during and way after the sale! The service department is by far the best I have ever dealt with and as a devoted Chevrolet guy for decades and owning several Corvettes, Camaros and Suburban’s and dealing with service department’s from CA to FL believe me when I say this. Art Tavoularis in service will do whatever it takes to see that your car in 100% takin care of and will treat you with most respect and professionalism. Sean Plummer is the ONLY technician that I want working on my track car. He’s advice on track alignment is by far the best on hands info I have experienced. When Sean sets up my car for different tracks it’s like art work! Having back ground in professional Porch racing Shaun knows his stuff when it comes to setting up your car. This man is supper meticulous and will take care of your baby as if is his own! To my friend David Rutter the general manager in serves a veteran of 27 years with Dimmit and GM guru. Very special thanks to you sir for taking care of me when I need your help the most! Recently I was involved in a bad accident with the Vett as someone ran a red light in the rain and taking out the front end on the car. 20 days later my car was back together and it look better than factory. Deceptive Hello Mr. Collore, Thank you for your letter asking about my experience with my recent vehicle purchase. This is my third purchase through your de Hello Mr. Collore, Thank you for your letter asking about my experience with my recent vehicle purchase. This is my third purchase through your dealership and it will certainly be my last. Let me tell you about my experience— On 8/2, my husband and I worked with salesman Gerald Stumpf. While doing the paperwork, he shared the service records with us indicating that there was a tire patch. Mind you, we are being charged close to $1800 for “reconditioning” and to have the vehicle “Certified”. Your salesman went back and forth saying, no the tire was not patched, then it was, then it wasn’t. My husband is a mechanic—he knows how to decipher service records. How is it acceptable that your dealership will try to sell a Certified Vehicle with a patched Tire? Extremely deceptive and shady. Then he offered us $100 to just accept the car. I said fine, as long as I get it in writing that the service records were incorrect (highly doubtful) and that Dimmitt will take on any liability if the tire was patched. Remember, I am paying $1800 for a Like New car per your salesman. Needless to say, Gerald was going back and forth with whomever lives in the corner office in the showroom and said it was agreed that our tire would be replaced. He still maintained that the tire was not patched, but that he was just “Sales” and Service was closed as it was a Sunday. He said he was replacing the tire to make us happy. Isn’t that nice of him? Again, deceptive business practices. Come Monday morning, 8/3—lo and behold the back right tire was flat. Not a patched tire right? My husband had to take off work and bring the car in for the tire replacement that morning. Then we get a call on Tuesday—great news! We got better terms for our loan and come on in! We’ll be pretty thrilled. I called and would not be told how the terms changed, but that I would be happy and come on in for a quick resign. So we did. And waited and waited. We had the displeasure of working with “Dave” the Finance Guy. You see, I happened to notice that my finance total went up from the original contract we signed on 8/2. Why I wonder? Well Dave explained to me that it was because VIN Etching ($499) was added to the contract and that it was very important. When asked if the VIN Etching was a requirement of financing, he tried to spin that it was. However when I told him I will call Ally Bank and confirm, he backed off that lie. Can you explain to me please your business practice of adding additional fees to an already agreed upon contract? I’d really like to know how that is acceptable. Again, your dealership proved itself to be deceptive. Dave did finally remove the VIN Etching, however was none too pleased as was indicated by him slamming around papers and barking at someone who called him that he was “working on the XXXXXXX re-send”. He was not happy that I then asked to see the previous and current contract to check ALL numbers and wanted copies as well. At this point, who knows what else was changed in the contract right? On Friday, I got several more calls while I was out of town. Dave left voicemails and said in his haste to void the previous documents (and get us out of his office I am sure), he voided one too many and could we please come back in. I called Gerald and told him due to my hours this week, they will need to overnight the paperwork. I asked Gerald what the paperwork was, he stated something it was something “that the State of Florida” required. Well no, it was actually my contract all over again. How and why Dave voided the new contract we signed I have no idea. Do you? We will be purchasing our son’s vehicle next year sometime, however Dimmitt Chevrolet will not be receiving our business. More

I have purchased numerous vehicles from Dimmitt and my experience has always by far been excellent. I have purchased most of my cars from Chris Neumann. He gives you 100% of his attention and always offers to make your experience a pleasant one. I contacted him ahead of time and he was ready when I arrived. I was in and out of there quicker than ever. He also goes out of his way to make sure you get the best of the best deal ever...... Thank you Chris and Dimmitt Chevrolet. loss of customer Three years ago I would of rated them 5 out of 5. I bought 2 cars from them and was extremely loyal. Upon looking to trade, I didn't feel at home. There was no interest in selling to me nor did they want my business. I finally went another route and went to cancel my warranty and gap insurance. They never greeted me and I waited over an hour, watching other people get pulled to the back. No one asked why I was there or if I needed anything. I'm totally disgusted how they would treat a loyal customer like this. More
