We recently purchased a vehicle at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater as both our vehicles were totaled in hurricane Helene. I did not have a vehicle, so my husband went after work to buy the vehicle we were Clearwater as both our vehicles were totaled in hurricane Helene. Since I couldn’t be there and it was going to be my vehicle, Chris, our salesman and Dan in the finance department worked so wonderfully with us completing the entire purchase with phone calls and electronic signatures. Chris, our salesman delivered the vehicle to me and the necessary paperwork for me to sign. They went out of their way to help us and to make everything go smoothly for us with as little stress as possible. They were so wonderful through this entire deal and we felt so comfortable with our entire dealings with them, with excellent customer service and efficiency, we couldn’t ask for more. We would highly recommend them and this dealership to do business with, awesome company with wonderful people, we were so happy and totally satisfied, thank you both for everything. More

Being a young girl going to buy a car alone can be nerve wracking but he made me feel comfortable and excited about this experience, even after having my last car totaled by a hurricane flood. If I could give this dealer zero stars I would, which is a shame because it came highly recommended. We purchased a pre owned vehicle this afternoon on October 12, 2024 (today but this site shows 10/13 as the posting date) When we got home, I noticed rust on the front and under the car- and immediately brought it back, less than a half hour after signing the papers on it. I was met with denial after denial and was told we were basically SOL for a 50k car that is damaged and was sold to us with damage not disclosed. we were told that it was surface rust only which is not the case-the management team told us they were done speaking with us when we attempted a resolution. Completely appalling service not delivered after multiple visits and prefaced phone calls. The service manager Edwin Rodriguez has a super sideways attitude and remarks, and doesn’t allow you to sentences of visits and prefaced phone calls. You can go to, we won’t be providing your service here“. This is after a phone call into Shannon explaining repeat visits, wasted, with knowledge of the problem to be cured [one wheel replacement, three wheel reconditioning]. You can tell Edwin is on a high horse and likes to speak matter-of-factly, as he is interested in addressing his issues before asking about problems to be solved. After making his remark and not agreeing to have further discussion, I was tasked with requesting official contact information from various officials across the service center, after he and other officials went into hiding. Very perplexing behavior and attitudes coming from a multi million dollar dealership. Previously had to agree to prepaid service just to have the wheel evaluated for a slow leak They would not otherwise identify. Definitely worth a story being shared. I have communicated to upper management officials and am awaiting a response back. More
