I purchased my Wrangler in WA State. It only has 28000 miles on it. The controls on the steering column quit working last week and I called to schedule service on an issue clearly covered by warranty. I asked about a service loaner at the time of my call as this was a warranty issue and I work in Houston PA a good distance from my home in Sewickley. I was told this would be ok and I made an appointment for service on Tuesday the 24th at 7:30 am. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment I was told I was "not in the computer" the rep who checked me just said that and stared at me like I was bothering him. I told him again I had made the appointment over the phone and that I was to get a service loaner. I was then told "we only do that for our customers" I found this comment to be extremely rude and condescending. So I am what? I pointed out this was a clearly covered warranty issue and where I worked. The service rep did then fit me in and got me the promised loaner, however he seemed very put out about the whole thing. He stated he only had one loaner left, this was fine except there was no gas in it, I had to go straight to the gas station, the car had not been cleaned since it was last used and smells like smoke. Yuck. As it turns out the Jeep needed a computer update, this along with a requested oil change was done. When I picked up my jeep this morning the girl I initially returned the car too was nice, when I mentioned the smell to her she stated that the car had smelled that way for a while. I paid for my oil change and went to get my car. I noticed right away when I walked out the door that it was dirty. As I got closer it looked like had been rinsed off, but not wiped down. A very poor wash job with visible dirt and grime left on my car. Ok, when I started my car the oil change notification had not been reset. I went back in and asked about it. The same man who I dropped the car off with and who was rude came out to look. As we came out side I asked about the wash job and he informed me "that they ran it through the car wash" again he said this in a manner that I found very rude and condescending. I asked him "does it look clean to you" as it was visibly dirty. He just looked at me and said "well we can do it again. I said no I didn?t have time as I had to be at work. He then reset the computer and walked away. No apology, no explanation was ever offered about the scheduling mix up, the poor wash job, the condition of the loaner car, why my car quit working, nothing. I may not have bought my Jeep at your dealership, but I am a Jeep customer and expect better treatment. I will not be using your dealership again for any of my needs, service, or to purchase any of my vehicle?s. You are not the only game in town and I will be taking my business elsewhere. I am also going to make sure everyone I know hears about my experience at your dealership, I will be telling them to go elsewhere as your service staff is rude and treats its customers like they are a bother. > Jill Lawton-Peterson More
Considering this dealership offers free tires for life amoung other perks if you buy a new car there - it just cannot be for real. The salesperson who I delt with was rude, acted as if I was waisting his amoung other perks if you buy a new car there - it just cannot be for real. The salesperson who I delt with was rude, acted as if I was waisting his time and was not informed on the products on the lot. I was looking at a 2012 Dodge Journey and the salesman didn't even know if it came with a 3rd row or not. (they do, but it is an option). Didn't offer to look to see if they had any others elsewhere or if he could "do anything" regarding the price. An internet search found 3 others and all were lower priced than the one sitting on their lot. I went elsewhere and will not be back! More
This is the second time that the service department lied to us. The first time we paid almost $200 for a new battery. When they gave us the car back, the check engine light was on. I asked them if they had to us. The first time we paid almost $200 for a new battery. When they gave us the car back, the check engine light was on. I asked them if they had reset the codes and they told us that there was something else wrong with the engine and to bring it back the next week. I took the car to another mechanic who said the check engine light was the result of removing all power from the vehicle and reset it. No further problems. When I confronted their service manager, I was told that the technician that changed my battery wasn't qualified to reset the computer, but they still charged me $80/hr labor for the guy! We then brought the car in a second time for brakes. They told me the brakes were totally shot and not to even drive off the lot. I asked why didn't they tell us they were worn when they rotated the tires just 1,000 miles ago. Their response was that the guy who did the work wasn't there anymore. They gave us a ridiculous price to do the work and I called another shop that would use NAPA parts and do the work less than half of what they quoted. You might want to but a car there, BUT DO NOT GET IT SERVICED THERE More

However Difficulty getting repair of minor issue The problem is that my running lights on my 2002 Ram 1500 will not come on. This is my only issue. However, I am unable to pass state inspection due to this malfunction. The dealership I went to for service was Kelly in Moon Township,PA. After extensive personal research and their recommendations, I was informed that my truck needed a total integrated power control unit replacement. I was also told that this part is backordered for six months. The service manager told me that I could have the current unit rewired so that the lights would work by turning on my fog lights to enable me to pass inspection. Since it would be 6 months and I needed to use the vehicle, I agreed. They charged me $253 for the repair. I had not driven the vehicle at night until recently. When I turned on the lights as directed, the running lights still did not come on. When I called it get it fixed, I was put off for another week and a half. When I arrived at 8:00am, my name was listed as first on the service departments log for drop-offs that day, but I was told that they would not even get to it until after noon. They did not repair my vehicle the first time, yet were asking me to waste even more of my limited time for a repair that I was skeptical that they could even do in the first palce, and they were planning to charge me again although I had already paid for the job that was not completed properly the first time. I informed the service manager that I would be leaving, and asked about the backorder status for the part. He stated it would still be six months. I then asked for the part number so I could try to find the part sooner. He simply refused to supply it to me. This dealership is costly, both in time and money, has no regard for its customers and yet continues to call and mail me at my home to solicit for a new vehicle. While I am on the subject of Kelly's professional standards, I must share this as well. They are so in tune with their customers that I continue to receive cards and letters related another vehicle I drove while employed by Johnson & Johnson. In the correspondence I receive, the salutation addressed by the salesperson reads 'Dear Johnson'. Obviously not first in his class either. More
