However, my experience here was very positive and I felt compelled to write one for them, especially since I didn't see any other reviews. I conducted my search for a 2015 Toyota Prius via email. I was very clear on what I wanted and my contact at Mel Grata Toyota - Paul Hilliard - was one of the only people to reply EXACTLY to ALL of my requests in a timely and professional manner. Though I live in Pittsburgh, I was willing to drive the 70 miles to this dealership because they gave me the best offer, and I was glad that I did. When I arrived to take delivery the car was clean, filled up with fuel, and had the new plate on it. Most importantly, the finance manager I worked with - Andrew Reckhart - had the paperwork filled out EXACTLY as Paul and I had discussed via email, thus there were no surprise costs (another dealership I almost bought a car from with tried to sneak a $199 'etching' into the price. I walked out, and am glad that I did). From my discussions with Paul, Andrew knew in advance that I had no interest in any of the extras (warranties, GAP insurance, etc.) and was not pushy like some other finance managers can be. He answered all of my questions in a satisfactory manner. I absolutely hate shopping - car shopping in particular - but glad that I was able to give Mel Grata Toyota my business. More
