Looked for used car. Liked and signed sales agreement for Chevy HHR 2011. Two days later dealer called and said to bring car back because bank didn't like that car to finance. Stuck us with a 2010 Niss for Chevy HHR 2011. Two days later dealer called and said to bring car back because bank didn't like that car to finance. Stuck us with a 2010 Nissan Altima. Said it was this or nothing, refused to refund Deposit made on HHR. Signed paperwork for Altima, but they held the paperwork for 3 days. Decided hated Altima, and backout of entire deal as it was not the car we originally purchased. Dealer said it was too late, they had gotten their money from bank and wouldn't return payment to them to take the car back. We stopped payment on Car deposit after they took back the HHR. More
I am writing this rating in reference to the saleman that we now have delt with twice. He is a terrific salesman. The car that we purchased was a 2011 Hyundai Elantra. Once you get your bottom line on the price of the vehicle, the dealer slaps on another sticker stating "dealer ins What a rip off this dealership is! Once you get your bottom line on the price of the vehicle, the dealer slaps on another sticker stating "dealer installed accessories" for $1995 extra!! I bought my car right off the truck from the factory, so non of these so called dealer add ons were done to my car! I didnt realize anything about these dealer scams, I mean dealer accessories until i got home. they include pin striping, which wasnt done, and some Simonize wax paint sealer crap, also wasnt ever done. I went the next day to speak to the sales manager, his response was "well you signed the contract!" Again I explained none of these items were done to my car! It just came off the truck and you can plainly see there is NO pin stripping on my car! He looked very sheepish and was pretty red in the face. I told him there is no way I want the stripping nore the wax job for almost $2000! Again the manager said Im sorry you signed the contract. Great customer service huh! Another little ploy they do at Dickson City Hyundai is they ask you for you drivers license for ID purposes. The scam is thats their way of keeping you at the dealership. We were there for 5 1/2 hours!! We were so exhausted and bored from sitting there we didnt pay a lot of attention to all the mounds of paperwork. PLEASE BEWARE, DO NOT go to this dealer, you will be ripped off!!! More
I have had pleasant experiences in the past at Dickson City Hyundai, but I can not say the same about my service visit this week. Now, don't get me wrong, the service I received was great, but my experien City Hyundai, but I can not say the same about my service visit this week. Now, don't get me wrong, the service I received was great, but my experience started out badly as I entered the parking lot. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I was abruptly asked by a sales associate named Billy if I needed help. I responded with a quick, "no, thank you", but he was so persistent and even had the nerve to ask me why I was entering the showroom. He rubbed me the wrong way so much that I don't know if I would return to the dealership in the future for a new car or refer it to a friend either, if this is how the new salespeople are trained. I just hope they are not all like this now. More
Our car buying experience could not have been easier. I called ahead and started the process. When I arrived there was a car meeting my requirements already pulled out front. Sarge was great. He is a straight forward person with a friendly attitude. He was extremely knowledgeable and a great help. Sarge explained everything in detail and I did not feel rushed. He was funny and made the whole process easier! I felt that he really understood the customers need. I was able to purchase a car that fitted my need and budget. I just purchased a 2012 Hyundai Elantra Limited ~ LOVE IT! I walked into the dealership and I didn't have plans on buying that day. He was very knowledgeable about all of the vehicles. He persuaded me to drive a few vehicles to see how they rode and I finally chose the Elantra. Again, LOVE IT! Ok I hope people take the time to read the reviews. It will save you a lot of money and keep you from having a bad experience. This dealership is horrible and deceitful. My Girl worked at a very large dealership that her father owned for over 30 years. We had cash but we didn't want to buy that day, we just wanted a price. I was trading in an 04 jaguar. They wanted to look at my trade, I told them I would be happy to take them through the car. Next thing I know someone was taking my car out a major highway without even telling me. When we drove the Rogue the salesmen had to go with us, he should have given me the same courtesy. So then on an 09 Rogue he told us he wanted 24,000 lol I can get a 2011 for less than that almost anywhere. Then when we said we are not interested, he wouldn't let us leave. (keep in mind he still has my keys to the jag) When I asked for my keys back, He told us to talk to his manager so he didn't get in trouble. So being nice we followed him in to the back room. WOW did everyone get nervous, it was like walking into a drug deal or something. They immediately told me to wait outside. I then said I need my keys we are leaving, nope he said he didn't have them. (xx) Then came out and said we can make a deal if you want to buy today. I ordered him to give me my keys which he still reluctantly gave them up. PEOPLE DON'T GO HERE!!! More
I was interested in purchasing a used auto. I had very limited time because I am an RN and was on call at the hospital. Sarge really expedited the whole process. He was extremely efficient. From the moment we stepped inside after the test drive, I had a horrible feeling. The first salesman we dealth with was not too bad, however he told the second salesman we were buying that day. we clearly st had a horrible feeling. The second saleman had very little disregard to my requests in regards to purchasing a new vehicle. he also felt the need to shake his head in a demeaning way when i said we only had our trade in and did not have any money to put down. despite this he would only give me a price with 3,000 down. He repeatedly would not listen to me. Then when i went elsewhere the same day, we found out their prizes were 2000 or more higher!!!! and if i heard one more time "these cars sell themselves and we are here to sell these cars fast and get in a car today" I was going to scream. I told them I was not ready to buy today repeatedly, but they did not want to hear it. I traveled twenty minutes further to get a car with great service and a great price. Motorworld! More
