We came in for our 7am (2nd scheduled appt in 2 weeks) appt. This was for a Sync 3 update to get our CarPlay back in our 2016 Ford Escape. My daughter and husband tried to drop off the car. Not only could appt. This was for a Sync 3 update to get our CarPlay back in our 2016 Ford Escape. My daughter and husband tried to drop off the car. Not only could they not find our appt, but then also said we don’t need the update, “we are all up to date”. They tried to tell us that all w need is an apple cord, which is not the case. When questioned, the tech was rude and refused to update it, even saying “it will break everything if they try”. So they left, wasting 1.5hrs of their time, but also a car that was not fixed. I got into my ford app and sure enough “software update available. Current version 1.0.15139. Update to 3.0.23219“. Unreal. They clearly didn’t want their time wasted for a free update. More
