I was shocked how fast my warranty repair was completed. It is now 17 July and the repair from weeks ago seems to have fixed the steering linkage issue. Next day service! Thanks! Made an appointment for Monday. Was told Monday that an appointment was a reservation, not an appointment, and it could be 2-3 days before my car was even seen. Tell me that when I Was told Monday that an appointment was a reservation, not an appointment, and it could be 2-3 days before my car was even seen. Tell me that when I make an appointment and I’ll have no expectations. Don’t tell me hours after I leave my car there. When someone finally does get back to me about my car, I’m told that there is no issue. Despite the fact that I’ve driven Mustangs since the 1980s and I know what they are supposed to sound like. My car has a weird whistling noise at low RPM in 3rd gear. I was told by my service tech that “the tech was unable to replicate the sound” AND that “every Mustang sounds like that.” So which is it? My 2019 Bullitt, which has the same engine set-up, never made that sound. I assume I received the treatment I did because I didn’t buy the car there, and I wasn’t a priority. So no answers, several days without a car, and the noise persists. Guess I’ll take my business to a dealership that wants my business. Dick Smith Ford isn’t interested in it, and frankly I wouldn’t want someone who thinks every Mustang sounds like mine to work on my car. More
