Service write up men weren't the most informative or courteous. After speaking to the manager Joe, he addressed my issues and was glad to hear them. I will try them again because they have a manager that cares. Service work was quick and clean, I liked that they put plastic on my seats, not all dealerships do that. More

I came in for service to check out my brakes. I was hearing a grinding noise as I slowly came to a stop. I learned I needed brakes all around. I was not prepared for this outcome because I only had a hearing a grinding noise as I slowly came to a stop. I learned I needed brakes all around. I was not prepared for this outcome because I only had approximately 22,000 miles on the brakes. Harley explained most vehicles can expect 20,000 - 25,000 life on brakes. I was disappointed knowing that the life on brakes is so short. Overall, the service was good. Thank you for answering all my questions Harley. More
My husband and I had been shopping around for a Jeep Liberty and had visited several other dealerships around Detroit Metro before trying out Dick Scott. They gave us the best bang for our buck!! (inclu Liberty and had visited several other dealerships around Detroit Metro before trying out Dick Scott. They gave us the best bang for our buck!! (including the best trade-in value for our Escape) Jacin Lohman was very helpful and friendly and made our car buying experience fast and wonderful! While we didn't get the Liberty we originally wanted, he did introduce us to the 2011 Journey that we loved even more! Thank you Dick Scott for setting the standard! Jacin was great and we are definitely spreading the word. More
Dave gave us several options for aquiring a vehicle that we could afford while giving the quotes on the two vehicles that were to be traded in. The vehicle chosen was just placed on the lot that fit our nee we could afford while giving the quotes on the two vehicles that were to be traded in. The vehicle chosen was just placed on the lot that fit our needs...and it was in great condition for a 2006 and really 'showroom' material....and Dave made for a nice experience during the time it took on acquiring the new car...and a few extras included... Our salesman, Dave, was very nice. I just am frustrated by the purchase process. The fact that Dave had to do the song and dance back and forth with a manager to help find an acceptable price is ridiculous by the purchase process. The fact that Dave had to do the song and dance back and forth with a manager to help find an acceptable price is ridiculous. I felt like we were back in the 1970's watching a bunch of men gather around a desk to decide if they could give me a better deal. Really, are we still in that age of backwards bartering? Due to this type of wheeling and dealing approach, the buying process took another 30-60 minutes of my time. I feel it is degrading to the buyer and the salesman to have to use this process and it would be nice to have your dealership step it up and trust your salesman to make the best deal. More
Had an appointment to have the "on" engine light checked. The P code read 0420. I arrived early. My car was kept the whole day. I was told the problem was the 0-2 sensor that I just engine light checked. The P code read 0420. I arrived early. My car was kept the whole day. I was told the problem was the 0-2 sensor that I just had changed. I was told that the engine light would reset. I was over charged $12. i caught this error and it was refunded. The next day the engine light came back on. The P code read 0420. I took my car back to the original mechanic who changed the 0-2 sensor again. Since then the engine light has come on again and the P code continues to read 0420. My car, that I depend on everyday, has been in the shop 3.5 days and is not repaired, It is disappointing that Chrysler will not live up to its responsibility to repair warranted parts. When the service employee Allan called to tell me my vehicle was ready I questioned him on the part that was broken. He informed me that it was not broken (even though my family members and I had to ho vehicle was ready I questioned him on the part that was broken. He informed me that it was not broken (even though my family members and I had to hold the part up with two people to close the stow and go) and asked me to come in for a lesson in how to use my vehicle. I tried to explain the problem and was again told that I would be have to be shown how to use my vehicle. The demeaning tone of Allan toward me was not acceptable. I did bring my van to Dick Scott from Allen Park because of the excellent salesman and our dedication to the dealership. My treatment in no way reflects on the the exemplary sales staff of Dick Scott. More
I walked into the Dealership, everyone was smiling, customers being taken care of and I knew I was in the right place. Jason Scott was in a meeting with Dick Scott and I was made to feel welcome by th customers being taken care of and I knew I was in the right place. Jason Scott was in a meeting with Dick Scott and I was made to feel welcome by the staff and sales staff. Larry Walsh who ended up taking over for Jason knew his products, and most importantly to me was knowing the inventory prior to them receiving into their system, he saw my car come in the day before. Both Jason and Larry are extremely professional, I see them as make it happen individuals with a deep sense of passion for their respective careers. My son in law has been wanting me to do business with Dick Scott Chrysler Dodge for years, I am glad he pushed even harder this time around for a new lease vehicle Dealer. While checking out the car prior to leaving I noticed a few scratches that were immediately tended too by Larry and the service department. I went back over the car again and noticed a dime size piece of paint was gone in the front bumper under the grill, immediately Larry set up an appointment for service next week and I am having mud flaps put on the car. Larry Welsh once again is being very accommodating as he springs into ACTION and making good on efficiency, promises and his word.. Jason Scott worked out a deal for my new lease which was the same as my prior Dealership. Dick Scott had what I wanted and I am glad I chose to purchase there.. More
Was quoted one price (in writing), then when we arrived at dealer to complete sale, different price was shown ($280 more). Explanation was that someone 'fat-fingered' the 'friends & family' price typed in at dealer to complete sale, different price was shown ($280 more). Explanation was that someone 'fat-fingered' the 'friends & family' price typed in 'upstairs' and this was the price quoted. According to both Sales & Finance, nothing could be done because dealer needs to sell 1% below MSRP. Had other dealers quoting me different numbers for same vehicle (you don't have to use 'friends & family' pricing) and your dealership could have done something besides giving me 4,000 service points (big deal..really?). Because I was going out of town for 3 weeks and my son needed this vehicle to head off to school before I returned, I needed to buy that day. I want a personal call from Jason Scott to explain what went down and how you may wish to re-earn my future business. Totally un-professional...it's no wonder why I hadn't bought Chrysler product in awhile...Vince Austin (734) 644-4476. I will be in China until August 29th, so please keep this in mind when calling - I am 12 hrs. ahead of Detroit. Sincerely, Vince Austin More
