Recall and Repair hassles Repair #1 - We brought the car in for an oil change, and the next day a cosmetic part fell off the bottom of the car. We brought it back in and were Repair #1 - We brought the car in for an oil change, and the next day a cosmetic part fell off the bottom of the car. We brought it back in and were told that DS would cover the labor, but that we were responsible to pay for the $180 part. Recall - We received letters about a recall, so we called to schedule the service. However, DS told us 3 times that they could not perform the recall service because they didn't have the parts. Who is supposed to order these parts? We called other dealers and they said of course they had the part and to come on it. We called DS a 4th time, and were finally scheduled to service the recall item. Repair #2 - When our car was in for the recall, we told the service area that the car makes a thump noise when shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. They said they would look at it. When we picked up the car, they told us all was fine. Driving home, the shifting from 1st to 2nd was even worse. Apparently no test drive was done. More

Very Pleased and would Highly Recommend I needed winter tires and as usual, Rob Goodlow was extremely helpful in making sure I not only got what I needed but I got the best price too. Rob gave me the information I needed to make sure I got what was best for me and my needs. While I waited, I also spoke with Jacin (I believe this is his name - has a beard & wears a fedora) in the showroom. Although I bought my car used from another location, Jason has great knowledge about my car and has helped me understand more what it offers. WITHOUT QUESTION, the friendliness and helpfulness of these two guys makes me want to buy my next car from Dick Scott - something I would not say about the 4 dealerships I've dealt with in the past. mostly good Vehicle was returned to me with 20 psi per tire, I find this unacceptable. Brand new vehicle with 4000 miles on it. Light on and bell ringing low tire Vehicle was returned to me with 20 psi per tire, I find this unacceptable. Brand new vehicle with 4000 miles on it. Light on and bell ringing low tire as I left, I returned and service filled them all. It was in for oil change and rear bearings, maybe they lowered the pressure to see if it was the tires making the bearing noise. I found it odd that they were all at 20psi. But I had never checked psi before, but the idiot light and bell never went off before. More

My overall experiences with the dealership have been excellent and that is the reason I have returned each time. Jacin Lohman was my salesman. He was very friendly, informative and answered all my questions. (which were many). He set up my Sirius radio with my favorite stations, connected my iphone in order to make it hands free as well as explained many other features of my Jeep Cherokee. I have called him several times after my purchases and he was very helpful in answering all my questions. I highly recommend Dick Scott and Jacin Lohman and would definitely use them again. More
