A Most Excellent Automobile Purchase/Lease Experience Last week the automobile that I have been driving for the past 15 years broke down again and the repair costs far exceeded its worth, so I had to do t Last week the automobile that I have been driving for the past 15 years broke down again and the repair costs far exceeded its worth, so I had to do the dreaded task of locating and buying a new car. I pretty well knew what my budget was and what options I want so I did an online search of dealer inventories locally for my next automobile. I narrowed the search to either a Mazda 3 or Hyundai Elantra. I found a 2016 Elantra Sport at Dick Hannah’s Hyundai of Portland that was equipped the way I wanted and priced well below sticker. I connected up with Blake Woodard, one of their Internet sales consultants. We dialogue for some time online and I provided him a credit application and the next day he provided me with several scenarios on either leasing or purchasing the said Hyundai automobile. In the meantime, I visited a local Mazda dealership and test drove a Mazda 3. Nice automobile but not nearly equipped or warranted as the Hyundai. The next day, I connected up with Blake in person at the dealership and I test drove the Elantra. The Hyundai Elantra won me over. Hours later I drove my new Hyundai home. Buying the automobile using the internet saved me time, money, and the hassle of purchasing/leasing an automobile. This is the future in purchasing automobiles I believe. The paperwork process went quickly, got a quick tour of the service department, met the sales manager, and finally Justin, the xxI manager who processed the paperwork on my lease. While I was waiting to close the transaction, I also met Phil Brodehl, who is their resident Allstate Insurance agent who presented me ideas on saving insurance costs. This is my 3rd lease vehicle from a Dick Hannah dealership; the first two were for Acura RL’s and all three were flawless automobile transactions. All three were pleasing experiences with no pressure and a friendly atmosphere. Working with Blake was an ideal experience and I would recommend those interested in a Hyundai to hook up with him online. He can navigate you on your purchase or lease of a Hyundai automobile. More

Returned faulty car within 24 hrs.... I would have been happy to provide four stars initially, even though I returned a faulty vehicle. You get two because I liked my salesperson. Not getting my money refunded in a timely fashion has turned this into a bitter experience! Financed a 2013 Nissan Rogue on a Sunday 8/9/15 with a monetary down payment At Dick Hannah Hyundai of Portland. The entire sales process went quite flawless and the new sales person Art was very pleasant to work with. I returned the Rogue on Monday 8/10/15 due to a whining sound and lack of power once it was on the freeway. Told them I was not comfortable with the vehicle and wanted to return it. On Tuesday 8/11/15 I took advantage of the Peace of Mind pre-owned program 3 day return policy. Signed a HAND WRITTEN rescission of the deal since the computer was down! Called Dick Hannah Hunyadi of Portland on Friday 8/14/15 since I had still not been refunded my down payment, was told by Doug Clark that my down payment refund was being processed. I asked to make sure it would be in my account by the weekend! Saturday 8/15/15. I was NOT refunded my money after waiting 3 full business days! I spoke to the Sales Manager "Ricky" he explained the Corporate office was not open on Saturday to issue me a refund and that my refund was NOT being processed. Was told it would be faster to cut me a check than to reverse the debit, however a check wouldn't be cut until mid-morning on Monday. If I don't have a check that's cleared my bank on Monday I will be adding to this review and in their lobby letting them know how unacceptable this business practice is. I really hate to feel this way but hate even more to feel taken advantage of. I've completely lost faith in everything they say! This was the first time in 15 years I have purchased a vehicle from a dealership and I see the methods haven't changed of trying to take advantage of hard working people's money. I completely understood that it would take a few days to rescind this transaction but I literally had the car for 24 hours. I don't know if the dealership is holding my money as a sales tactic thinking I will jump into a different purchase or if they are using my money to draw a very short term interest or have a corporate office that could care less about returning a customer's money in a timely fashion?? The down payment was withdrawn from my account within 24 hours, obviously there was a sense of urgency to get my money but none to return it..it doesn't take over three business days to provide a refund! All I know is, after this little stunt of Dick Hannah Hyundai of Portland holding my money I absolutely will NOT purchase my vehicle from them and will tell everyone I know about how buying a car I have shopped months for turned into being taken advantage of! Oh....I even filled the gas tank the day I got the Rogue and was told I couldn't be reimbursed the $35, but if I purchase a car from them they would see to it I got a full tank! Wow.... I would bet that my down payment and a tank of gas are small change to Dick Hannah Dealerships, but to me, that is several hours, days and months of hard work and saving!! I don't know why the staff at Dick Hannah Hyundai of Portland are punishing me after selling me a faulty vehicle. I followed their return policy to a tee! I would definitely need my head examined if I ever considered buying from this outfit again! More

I worked with Doug Clark at Dick Hannah Hyundai and I was relieved by his courtesy and professional approach to our customer experience, He worked quickly when he could and also took time to make sure we understood the details of the car and the terms of the purchase. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a car to go to Dick Hannah Hyundai. More

Araabi Sharif -Professional, Knowledgeable, Customer Focused I had to purchase a car for my granddaughter who attends school in Portland. I shopped two other area Hyundai dealers for the same car and was amazed I had to purchase a car for my granddaughter who attends school in Portland. I shopped two other area Hyundai dealers for the same car and was amazed at the lack of knowledge of their own product and not responding to questions I sent by email. I then found Araabi Sharif at Dick Hannah of Portland. As this was a long distance purchase I had to email/call many times for information on the car, etc. Araabi was always patient, reassuring and professional. My granddaughter visited the dealership and Araabi explained the features of the automobile had her test drive it and worked with her on insurance needs. The price of the new Elantra, model, features, etc. was well below the two other area dealers so that would have been reason enough to purchase from Dick Hannah Hyundai but what sealed the deal was the first-class service provided by Mr. Sharif. I thought to myself if they service the car half as well as Mr. Sharif sells the car my granddaughter will be very happy. Sincerely, A.Kim More

Grear experience I bought my car over the course of a week and it was nice not to be pressured into anything. They brought the car to my work place during the week so I bought my car over the course of a week and it was nice not to be pressured into anything. They brought the car to my work place during the week so I could do a test drive during my lunch. They also found the car in a different color and transferred it to their dealership so I could buy it there. When we came in we just had to do our trade in and sign the finance papers. Overall a great car buying experience! More
