We've been taking our 2004 Mazda we purchased off their lot in for service as part of the Customer for Life program for the last two years. Josh did an outstanding job. He went above and beyond what he could have done. The part that was defective in our clutch was not covered, but without even being asked he called the warranty people at VW what he could have done. My passenger headlight was out on my bug-a-boo. Calling to make the appointment was quick, with many different times to choose from. When we arrived Josh met us with a smile and even remembered my name. He listened to my issues, checked things out on my beetle, and let me know the headlight was covered under my warranty. One of the issues Josh fixed right on the spot was the windshield washer. It was squirting over the top of the car and Josh adjusted it. He told us how long it was going to take and made sure we didn't need a ride anywhere. We elected to walk and have breakfast. When we came back to pick up the car it was washed and ready to go. It had a spot of pitch on the side that Josh was already in process of cleaning. His friendly attitude and great personality is a nice change to most automotive shops. Thank you Josh and mechanics. We bought our new Beetle and couldn't have had a more pleasant experience than we did. Our Bug was in the newspaper add that day. The headlight was out on my VW Bug and I didn't even know that was an Under Warranty item. Thanks to the great service rep, I was able to replace my bulb for free. He explained everything easily to me, told that was an Under Warranty item. Thanks to the great service rep, I was able to replace my bulb for free. He explained everything easily to me, told me how long it would be for the service to be complete, showed me where the waiting room was, gave me updates during my wait, and personally escorted me back to my car when it was ready. Scheduled appointment via the internet. Arrived at the appointed time and drove right up to the service writers work station. I was impressed by the service writers interest in making this visit a good o appointed time and drove right up to the service writers work station. All my concerns and questions about this service appointment were thoroughly reviewed and documented to my satisfaction. Only then was the button pressed and the papers printed. Because of the service time required, they gave me a ride home and picked me up in the afternoon when the car was ready. It was serviced, washed and ready to go when I returned. I have taken a lot of cars to a lot of dealerships over a lot of years and had a lot of problems. Not today. When the day was over and my car in the garage, I was still happy. Wow! More
I bought a 2006 New GTI from Dick Hannah VW. The car was in excellent shape when I got it and I found the professionalism of the salespeople to be excellent. Ryan was a great help in getting a new tire for my car. At first I was going to need 4 new tires but he was able to find a company that "shaved" the tires to match the tred. I received a phone call from Dick Hannah VW regarding a recall for my 2001 Jetta. I set up an appointment over the phone. When I arrived, I was immediately greeted and introduced to Phi, who assisted me. Phi was wonderful to work with, very courteous and professional. When my car was finished, she sat with me and went over a "check up" that had been performed. She informed me of a couple of maintenance items that were due, but was not pushy with me at all (which I appreciated). Overall, everyone I dealt with, from scheduling to the actual service appointment, were outstanding!! More
