Once the vehicle was purchased, I thought I was out the door but Greg took considerable time after the sale to link up my i phone and to be sure I knew how to use all the neat little features that this model had to offer. Greg made me feel like an old friend who had my best interests at heart. He was honest, upfront and reasonable in his dealings with me. I would highly recommend Greg Foumal to assist you in your VW purchases. More

My experience in dealing with Greg can only be scored positive with a tri When I purchased my 2015 GTI on October 31, 2014, I worked with Greg Foumal. My experience in dealing with Greg can only be scored positive with a triple A rating! Greg's performance was outstanding. He was calm, patient, knowledgeable, prompt in responding to my questions and addressing my worries. Made me feel a valuable customer until (and after) the last signature concluding the deal. Obviously, and from a customer standpoint, these qualities are expected from any salesman. Yet, Greg exceeded my expectation and he needs to be commanded for it. On this basis, I look forward to continuing interacting with Dick Hannah VW, first with its great service/maintenance shop, and who knows, may be in 2 to 3 years when it becomes time to think about changing my 2015 GTI for a 2017 or 2018 GTI model! The only "sad" note, and this has nothing to do with Greg's performance, was the loss of my Tire for Life option which I purchased with my 2012 GTI (and did not use), but was no longer available. In brief, and retrospectively, I should not have purchased this option, thus saving some precious pennies that I could have used for the purchase of the 2015 model. But so goes (Tires for) life, doesn't it? J-B More
Tires for life......., I recently took my 2012 VW Jetta in for a 40K service which was recomended by the dealer Dick Hannah. I had missed my first service which was just an I recently took my 2012 VW Jetta in for a 40K service which was recomended by the dealer Dick Hannah. I had missed my first service which was just an oil change but I guess all services needed to be performed by the VW dealer in order to qualify for the tires for life. That's how they get out of honoring these gimmicks. Any how I asked many times before dropping my car of if the tires would be taken care of even though they were after market wheels and tires on the car. I was told by 3 people at the dealership it would be no problem and the service would include replacing the tires. They never asked me if I had all services performed they were only concerned about the 40k service which I had to pay for. Here's where it got sticky and almost turns into being a bad expreriance! My service writer Gary Pouliot called me and said my service was all done but the tires were denied because I missed the first service at 10k. Really! After asking 3 times if everything would be taken care of. I was on a long road trip and just paid another provider to change the oil which was the first service, an oil change. I told Gary that I was assured the tires would be taken care of or I would have just done this service on my own and bought the tires instead. Anyway afterwards a few attempts to denie the tires, split the cost of the tires Gary Pouliot stepped up and went to batt for me. He said he was new and he should have looked in the system to make sure there would be no reason for the tire claim to be denied. I got new tires and the service was performed to my satisfaction and for that I will be back! Thank you Gary for having the courtesy to see my issue and take care of it in a very professional manor. Pablo Ulibarri treated us horrible from the start of our car having problems. We just bought our car on June 22nd. It's a 2010 Chrysler Sebring, low miles, & clean inside. We recently filed bankruptcy and knew we'd be signed up for higher interest rates & payments. That was something we were prepared for. My husband made sure that their Rewards/Customer Loyalty program (that you automatically get enrolled into) covered everything on the new car we just bought. He asked repeatedly in the Sales department that no matter what they'll cover any issue. Unfortunately, they didn't explain that only somethings were covered. Just the other day our alternator blew. My husband went into Dick Hannah to speak to the service department. Pablo kept walking away and taking care of other issues, telling him to hold on and also said he would have to call to see if we had extended warranty. This was after they gave us a Jetta service car to borrow while ours wasn't working. He didn't want to help us at that time, and had better things to do. Later that day we find out the cars alternator is not covered, we'd have to pay for the tow truck, and also the rental car. My husband was told that the car was going to be completely covered if anything was to go wrong. Pablo was no help - my husband called the sales department and they were able to pay for half of it, knowing how frustrated we were to have to go through this. When we went back in to pick up our car, Pablo was the one who helped us again. He had us come up to his counter. And then proceeded to walk off and speak into his walkie talkie, ignoring us. He had a bad attitude with us. A little about Pablo - He has never serviced a car in his life. And couldn't give me an answer on how long alternators usually last on a Chrysler Sebring. But said VW's last about 12 years. This we know since we once had a VW our self. A 2010 Chrysler, and the alternator goes out after 4 years? You would think a popular dealership like Dick Hannah would make sure all their cars were reliable. Or at least cover the car within the 90 days. I don't care that it's a used car. It's still new! With low miles. Our car was also not even detailed when we picked it up. We just bought a new car, put money down on it, trusted that it was reliable, and paid our first car payment all to find out we needed to fork more money out to it. I would not take my car to the service department their again. We are not 100% pleased with our purchase. I wish we would have gone elsewhere. Good people work at Acura of Portland or Nissan of Portland - Go check them out before you go here. We couldn't even speak to someone higher up than Pablo. Maybe he was scared that he would get in trouble for his horrible customer service. Who knows. More
Fun getting your car serviced--who knew. I took my car in for a check engine light and it had failed its emission test. 10,000 mile service I am very satisfied with the friendly and good service. Great Car Buying Experience! I bought a car back in November from Dick Hannah Volkswagen. This was my third car that I've bought from them. Even though I've had some good and not so good experiences with Dick Hannah, I thought I would give them another try. I was very divided. Steve was my salesman and he was amazing. Great customer service and he didn't make me feel pressured. In fact he tried to help me make an informed decision and give me all my options and the benefits of each choice. I ended up leasing a brand new Jetta. I was very impressed with everyone else too. From the finance team, to Rebecca Locke and Jason with Dick Hannah Insurance, the service people. Everyone was awesome. Safe to say they made up for all the bad experiences that I've had. Probably why I will continue to buy cars from Dick Hannah! I love my VW too! Thanks everyone for such a great car buying experience! More
Worst dealership I've ever dealt with. Salesman stated, "we will make it worth your while to give us excellent reviews. If you feel you can't, call us before you submit the survey and we will work something out." After 3 weeks we are still being harassed by the dealership saying they "can't find funding." They were sure eager to take our trade and our deposit money though! They have yet to follow through with any of their promises. If this is how they do business, I would urge anyone lookng for a vehicle to look elsewhere. More
