Dick Hannah Subaru

This is the first time that we needed our '05 Subaru serviced since purchase. Taking it to the dealership was great. We got to the service department and just drove on in. We were greeted warmly by the person that we had made the appt with, and our service was started on time! We were given a thorough estimate and a guarantee on when the car would be done. We got a phone call almost 2 full hours before our promised time of 3pm that our car was done, which was great! Again upon arrival back to the dealership someone went running (in the rain) to get our car. The full inspection was gone over to let us know if there were any problem areas we needed to know about. More than anything we were treated with courtesy and timeliness the entire time. I know that my car got the best care it could by taking it straight to the dealership. More

Another non-Subaru dealership nearby was sloppy and full of pushy dealers who thought they knew better than I, what was the best vehicle for me. I should never have wasted my time anywhere else. The salesperson (Shawn)is a true Subaru enthusiast. He took the time to find out what we really needed and did his honest best to make the purchase process go as easily as possible. However, the management is entirely a different matter. They misrepresented the price of the car (and removed the sticker price in the window during the negotiation) then when we turned in our clunker they never have returned the scrap value of the car. When called about this they said they would get back to us- two months ago. Overall we got a 'fair' deal from Dick Hanna Subaru- but that was only by walking out on the deal twice- then having the price knocked down $3000 (by their calculations) so what seemed like a great deal turned out to be exactly MSRP.
