Sam and Jaben were responsive and straightforward. I had dealt with other Portland-area dealers recently in an attempt to buy a Forester and did not find much willingness to do more than point to a newspape dealt with other Portland-area dealers recently in an attempt to buy a Forester and did not find much willingness to do more than point to a newspaper ad and say "thats the deal." Perhaps the depressed economy has worn them down, but I could not find much interest in completing a deal. Sam answered email and phone inquiries promptly, worked out a good price for everyone, located the vehicle and then he and Jaben saw that the car was cleaned and paperwork completed as quickly and effortlessly as possible. While on one hand this is how business should always be done, it is not the standard at all at many other shops. I found both of them to avoid "gamesmanship" and to be honest and effective. I would definitely recommend Dick Hannah and these two indivduals again. More

We went in to buy a new Subaru Forrester. My boyfriend really liked the car after checking things out on the internet and going for a test drive. We had a very friendly salesperson, and everything seemed really liked the car after checking things out on the internet and going for a test drive. We had a very friendly salesperson, and everything seemed like a good experience. When we sat down to do a deal, the salesperson put out a form with the price $1800 over the sticker price. He explained this was so the dealer could make a profit. Unbelievable! I knew my boyfriend would not negotiate the price and would pay full sticker price, but adding on and saying that was normal was unbelievable. I decided not to jump in on the negotiations as I figured we would deal down on that for sure. From this point it was all slick talk and double talk, including constant chatter to us so we had no time to talk alone together. I didn't even realize what was happening until it was all done and we were on our way home. We both felt like we had been screwed royally. They even made my boyfriend initial a part on the contract that said we could not cancel the contract. We will definitely be spreading the word among our family and friends about the slimy double talking salespeople at the Dick Hannah Subaru dealership in Vancouver. More

Megan was extremely thorough and helpful, along w/being great to work with. She answered or found answers to all of my questions even ones I hadn't asked!.
