Talked to some young kid who took 10 minutes just to make an appointment for me. Day of, it took an hour longer than they promised. "About 20 more minutes, he's just finishing up now". 40 minutes later I stomped over to his desk only to see my keys sitting there. For how long I don't know. Get in my car to drive away, Air conditioning is on, Seat is in new position, Seat heater is on high. Things have been moved and not returned to where they originally were in the car. In the movie business there is what's called a 'continuity expert'. This is someone who takes photos of where things were when the current 'shot' is finished. Total amateur hour. We were of course apprehensive about the whole car buying experience but everyone at Dick Hannah was very accommodating to our needs and wants. When we first arrived there I asked if we could possibly get d experience but everyone at Dick Hannah was very accommodating to our needs and wants. When we first arrived there I asked if we could possibly get done within the next two hours. The sales person tried really hard to make that happen but in the end we did have to come back the next evening to finalize everything. The return visit went very quick and we were out of there in about an hour. So the entire "new car" buying experience only took about 3 or maybe 3 -1/2 hours. Because it was dark out and my wife doesn't like to drive at night they even delivered the new car to our home the next day!! Since we weren't doing a trade in we would have had to drive two cars home otherwise. Overall we are very pleased with the experience and it went much smoother than we imagined!! I should note that we knew in advance exactly what we wanted as far as make and model. So if you can get that figured out before going in it really helps. More
