He listened to what I wanted and what my budget was and didn't try pressure me into a deal that I was not comfortable with. I left with a car that I love and payments that fit in my budget perfectly. But Taylor was able to get me to want to take it home he even went out of his way to pay out of his own pocket to fix the steprail on my truck. I will definitely be back for my next truck and will definitely send people his way. Thank you for the amazing service. More

good place, people, but missed by just a tiny bit Roxanne was very helpful. I did get the vehicle I wanted, it is just that, the bow was not really tied neatly, in a figurative sense. I was never Roxanne was very helpful. I did get the vehicle I wanted, it is just that, the bow was not really tied neatly, in a figurative sense. I was never given different selections on my financing, and yes, a bit of that is on me for not demanding as many choices as were available. I am completely in love with my vehicle (2015 Jeep grand Cherokee) I did my research and knew what I wanted so the vetting part was pretty easy, the test drive sealed the deal for me. It was easy to set up, I did the initial contact on the web and they had the vehicle waiting for me on the lot when I arrived, the drive went great and Roxanne was very nice and commented on many things that I was not aware of, excellent. Now for the things that I would consider "cons" there is nothing significant here, just minor things that can be overcome easily. The first thing, no one discussed the missing pull out for the back space, I kind of assumed it was simply in the "in" position, so that was a bit of a surprise when I explored the car further after making it home. Next, I signed all of the paperwork, finished the deal (all of that was pretty good, everyone was nice, and efficient) I was not "pressured" to add things, but I was not quite as informed as I would have liked to have been on the "extras" that I had purchased, that is fine, I read everything thereafter and would likely have made the exact same choices, it did feel a little rushed. I know this is "nitpicky" but they gave me the vehicle with the gas tank practically on "empty" (of all my vehicle purchases, this has never been the case, I simply found it odd, there is no “requirement” to give it to the customer full of course) and it was not particularly clean on the interior for all that I was informed it had been taken away while we did the paperwork to be "cleaned". I was still happy with the vehicle, and stopped on the way home to fill the tank (yikes, going from 2 door sporty to an full sized SUV is an eye opener at the gas pump!) I took it the next day and vacuumed out all of the spaces and re-assessed from there. On to the next task, I was given a "temp" tag for Oregon (the standard 20 day) and asked to complete and have verified a "VIN inspection" I am positive that I was told to get it done sooner than I did, so some of this is on me, but as you will read, just some. As the date for the temp tag to be up approached, I started to become worried, I had not heard anything, the day before the tag came up, I called Roxanne, who asked me to call Tonya, so, I did, and I left a message asking if there was anything I needed to do. I did not receive a call back that day, which, given how busy they are, was perfectly understandable. I waited through the weekend unable to drive my new vehicle, I was not upset really, I had alternatives, and was still very happy with the vehicle (still am). The next week comes and I waited to hear back, I did not. I called again and still did not receive a call back, by then I knew that Tonya was off for the next couple of days, and that is cool, everyone needs their days off. I texted Roxanne, and it took about 5 minutes for her to explain to me that some information was in my "packet" showing me it could take up to 40 days to get plates from Oregon and I was responsible to get another temp, that took me about an hour and was very easy, and I felt a bit sheepish for not digging through my 50 pages of stuff to find that. I get that everyone is busy, and Tonya was nothing but incredibly nice to me completely all the way through so, I was just disappointed at not receiving a return phone call as it was clearly a very easy fix. Miscommunications happen, it just seems that things kind of began to add up in the small miss category. Next item, and this is, I would say, more to the good. I purchased a "clear bra" for the vehicle with the purchase, the collision department called me almost immediately for install, but I was fairly busy so had to set up the appointment for a couple of weeks out. I was asked if I needed a loaner for the day, as the service would take about 6 hours, I responded that I did. the day arrives, and I show up for the install, I drop the car off and the loaner seems to be not set up, I am told that I will have to go chat with the truck center to get that done, no matter, the loaner was not the largest issue for me, except for getting back home, since I had the day off. Mary was super helpful, and found a lot attendant to take me home instead of getting a loaner. This was excellent. I was told I would be given a call and someone would come get me to pick up my vehicle when it was finished. At about 4:30PM I received the call that my vehicle was ready, but sadly, there was no one to come pick me up, here is where excellence in customer service comes in, I was told it could be dropped off to me in the morning, but sadly I was starting a series of 12-15 hour days beginning at 6:30 AM, thus having my vehicle at home after I needed to be at work would sadly, not work for me Otherwise I thought the solution would have been fine. Mary asked if she could call me back in a minute, that she might be able to figure something out. Mary called right back and let me know someone was coming to get me, excellent. A nice gentlemen knocked at my door a few minutes later, I believe his name was Chris, Chris persevered through Portland to Vancouver traffic on the I5 (at 5:00PM), chatted amiably with me, and was super nice, eventually I asked him what he did for the dealership as I could sense this was not his "regular" gig. It turns out, he was the Director of the collision center, what a great end to a day, and what commitment to customer service, both Mary and Chris gave, for, that I would give 5 stars all day long, what a wonderful story. I did receive my license plates, I was notified via an e-mail, in today’s world, that is just as good as a phone call in my estimation, and worked perfectly fine for me. I arrived to pick up my plates and two gentlemen were sitting on the front porch of the dealership, one nudged the other and he promptly asked if he could help me, I told him I was there to pick up my license plates, he asked my name, and located them for me, and then handed them to me and told me to have a good day. I feel petty when I talk about things like, an empty gas tank, and, a return phone call, or, not installing my license plates for me, I do. But, to me, it is all part of the process, and many small little overlookable things become somewhat of a pattern. I know I did not walk in there and spend 60k on a brand new vehicle, but I spent enough. The people were all very nice, Roxanne, Tonya, Chris, and Mary, no one was anything but respectful and helpful in the interactions that took place. Did I get the vehicle I wanted? Yes, I love it. I met some nice people and ran into some ridiculously awesome customer service (Mary and Chris in the collision center) the end result was that I got exactly what I wanted. I did feel that there was a little something missing, just that final few little touches that would have really cost them almost nothing, and caused me to gush in admiration, instead, I feel the experience was a little wanting. He impressed us with his knowledge regarding different makes, models, and their characteristics and features. Rob wanted to be sure that the truck we chose would meet our needs. He stuck with us every step of the way. Rob demonstrated superb salesmanship without any pressure "to buy". His sense of humor and connection to working class people is evident as Rob is a hard working family man himself. Getting to know Rob was a pleasure and we will recommend him with confidence. Dick Hannah Truck Center is fortunate to have Rob as an associate. More
