I tried to hash out the deal by phone and in writing before I drove the 125 miles to the dealer. When I arrived, I learned to my unbelievable surprise, that I was supposed to pay an additional $4000, ev before I drove the 125 miles to the dealer. When I arrived, I learned to my unbelievable surprise, that I was supposed to pay an additional $4000, even though I brought a trade-in that was worth at least $7200, if not $9,700 (according to KBB). In my phone negotiation, there was never a word about an additional payment, or perhaps the fact that I would need to bring cash or a check book. In fact, the first time the additional payment was mentioned coherently, was when Manuel told me that Honda Finance doesn't ALLOW that much down-payment on the lease! It then took me quite a while to even grasp that the offer that was presented to me included the additional $4000 payment! More

Nick and Scotty were phenomenal. I truly thought getting a new car was a pipe dream and I walked in expecting to be disappointed and frustrated with yet another salesman. I seriously I truly thought getting a new car was a pipe dream and I walked in expecting to be disappointed and frustrated with yet another salesman. I seriously couldn’t be happier. Scotty did not reassure me to upgrade a single thing a single time. I wanted what I saw at face value and nothing more. I wanted the coverage that came with the car, not to upgrade a million things. Scotty new this and didn’t push a single thing on me. And somehow Nick managed to get me a monthly payment and APR that I seriously thought was impossible. I’m still waiting for a bankruptcy to be dropped off in three years. I have put in massive amounts of effort and due diligence to repair my credit since I filed and apparently it has paid off. Nick had to work to find approval, but he didn’t give up and gave me far better than I ever dreamt of. Seriously. Phenomenal. I’m so glad I drove up here from Oregon and trusted my instinct. I could tell from the phone call I made that I was making the right choice. More
