HORRIBLE! Stay Away! Sold our car to someone else Went in on a Monday. Sumner was our sales rep (he was pleasant). Test drove car. We agreed to the price. In writing (Sumner gave us a drive off the lot document). Told him all along the deal pending on our mechanic doing a bumper to bumper inspection. Sumner thought that was a good idea and agreed to this. Mechanic showed up the next day (Tues). Mechanic did his thing ($160 - well worth it) informed me there were some safety issues that needed to be addressed (along with an emissions code that showed up on mechanic's computer). Mechanic also discovered and advised car was in accident - this was not on the Car Fax report. I emailed the list of items to Sumner that same day (Tues). Little while later he emailed me back saying they would take care of all items (bad tire, alignment, clogged air filter, getting an emissions test, couple other things...). 3 days later (Friday afternoon) I texted Sumner asking what the status was. As we all know dealers usually jump on fix it lists ASAP...found it odd I had not heard back from him as 3 days had elapsed. He texted me right back (Fri aft) informing me another sales rep sold the car AS IS that same day (Friday) morning. This tells me they just sat on the car (never intending to make the promised repairs) waiting for someone else to just come along and buy it - a car with known safety issues (and had been in an accident). In my book this very unprofessional and unethical. I asked for them to at least cover the mechanic fee (text to Sumner). No response. Waited a week. Re-texted Sumner. No response. Why am I not surprised?? More
