Sparse precautions for Covid-19 I brought my car in yesterday for an oil change. Had an appointment. When I went to check in not many workers were wearing gloves or masks. I decid I brought my car in yesterday for an oil change. Had an appointment. When I went to check in not many workers were wearing gloves or masks. I decided to take a walk and come back in an hour to get my car. They informed me it would be 1.5 hours for an oil change...seems a bit long, but surprisingly, they were busy. I came back and had to wait an additional 40 minutes in the waiting area. There was no indication that any of the chairs had been sanitized or any means to do it yourself. There were three of us waiting so it was easy social distance. When my car was finished the cashier was not wearing a mask or gloves and they man who pulled my car out had no protective wear on either. I had no idea if my car had been wiped down or not. Luckily, I had wipes in my car and did it myself. Maybe they were all angry because they had to work!! Not great! Hopefully, it improves as the virus gets more under control. I don't think this is going to happen for sometime so I would like it if they adopted better guidelines now. More
Didn't do service that was scheduled & then lied about it! I took my Forrester in for a confirmed 10 am appt on April 9, 2020, for a recall repair & oil change. Basma Khan said it would take 2 1/2 hr. When I I took my Forrester in for a confirmed 10 am appt on April 9, 2020, for a recall repair & oil change. Basma Khan said it would take 2 1/2 hr. When I checked 3 hrs later, she was out to lunch but I was told she would call me in 1/2 hr. No call. I checked again after an hour. She then told it would be another 1 1/2 hr. It took 6 1/4 hours for this service....and they didn't even change the oil!!! When I picked it up & asked if they had changed the oil, Basma said "Yes" it had. When I didn't see it on the invoice, I called to ask what was going on. She didn't return my call until after I called the service manager to complain. She said it wasn't scheduled although I had signed the authorization for it on arrival! I love my Subaru...but their service stinks! More
