I recently had a frustrating experience with Diablo Subaru of Walnut Creek that I feel compelled to share. After browsing their website, I received an overwhelming number of calls and texts regarding Subaru of Walnut Creek that I feel compelled to share. After browsing their website, I received an overwhelming number of calls and texts regarding a car I never inquired about. It started with a single call, which I thought was standard follow-up. However, it quickly escalated to multiple calls every hour, along with incessant text messages. I understand that dealerships want to make sales, but this level of persistence is not only annoying but also invasive. Despite my attempts to communicate that I was not interested in the vehicle or their services, the calls continued. It felt as though my preferences were completely disregarded. A dealership should respect potential customers’ boundaries, and this experience left me feeling frustrated and overwhelmed. More

I think because we titrated between consumer reports car sales assistance and our sales person at Diablo, it created conflicts behind the scenes. Our salesman was suddenly incommunicado and in possession of sales assistance and our sales person at Diablo, it created conflicts behind the scenes. Our salesman was suddenly incommunicado and in possession of the keys to our car? Sales staff told us he was having a mental health crisis?? What?!! We had to assert what staff had to do to complete the sale - it was unpleasant and contentious, but we prevailed. What a way to buy a car. Diablo could use our scenario in trainings for staff. I would be happy to participate! More
