Hector (in used car sales) made promises that were blatantly disregarded once I got to finance. Everything he showed me and told me was a lie in the end. Toyota is one of the best cars on the road. Th blatantly disregarded once I got to finance. Everything he showed me and told me was a lie in the end. Toyota is one of the best cars on the road. Their standards in sales should match the quality of vehicle. I feel like I've been robbed and I feel dirty like I just dealt with the 1.5 star used car dealership on some random corner. More
We had an excellent buying experience at Desert Toyota. Our salesperson, Parker, was professional and very knowledgeable. It was a smooth transaction with no high pressure. Highly recommend Parker. A Desert Toyota Cautionary Tale: my old Toyota 4-Runner recently had its power-brake booster fail, and so I had it towed to Desert Toyota for service. After inspection, they informed me that the price for recently had its power-brake booster fail, and so I had it towed to Desert Toyota for service. After inspection, they informed me that the price for repair would be about $2000! This exorbitant amount was mostly due to the price they were charging for the part, over $1400. I said I was not willing to pay that much and asked if they could do the repair with an after-market, non-Toyota, part. They told me they could, but would not warranty the work in that case. I opted for that solution, since my vehicle was not safe to drive anywhere else. Well, their Parts Department "managed" to find me an after-market part for $778, a little more than half of the jacked-up price of the genuine Toyota part. I was not happy, but was pressed to get the vehicle fixed, and so had the repair completed with this less-exorbitantly priced part. I'm now very remorseful: a quick call to a nearby autoparts store found multiple boosters for my vehicle in stock at $379.99 each. Also, after a closer examination of my bill, I discovered that Desert Toyota charges a "credit card transaction fee," which in this case amounted to $30. I was never informed that I was being charged a fee to use my credit card, and if I had been, I would have made other arrangements. And on top of all of that, my bill included an hour of labor for replacing the master brake cylinder -- the master brake cylinder must be removed to replace the brake booster, and so no additional labor is required. I challenged this part of my bill and the hour's worth of labor was removed, but why do I have to have a little knowledge about vehicles to keep from being overcharged? I've been a Desert Toyota customer for over a decade, and have now concluded that I've been too trusting, and that, this last time at least, I was taken advantage of. Bottom line: anyone should be very watchful if they decide to do business with Desert Toyota. More

We had a great experience with Ethan our salesperson, he went out of his way to be accommodating & following up on what needed to be done. We are still working on getting the second key that we have yet to went out of his way to be accommodating & following up on what needed to be done. We are still working on getting the second key that we have yet to get which is annoying so hopefully we will get it soon. Everyone at the dealership was helpful. More
